The Democrats are currently exploiting the coronavirus crisis to push through a number of changes to elections, including voting by mail.
Pelosi: “Vote-By-Mail is Essential”
In a tweet, Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi pushed the idea of allowing voters to send in their ballots through the mail.
“Vote-by-mail is essential to protecting the future of our democracy as we confront this public health crisis. There is no legitimate argument against enacting it,” Pelosi tweeted, arguing that President Donald Trump’s opposition to her plan was “so undermining of what our Founders had in mind about full participation.”

Marc Elias, a former advisor to Hillary Clinton, proposed mail-in voting, ballot harvesting, rules for people to “vote-anywhere,” and curbside voting.
“There is no question that voting by mail is an important part of the solution. It mitigates the problems of long lines and fosters social distancing,” Elias wrote in a piece for The Atlantic.

“The Republican Party Will Always Defend Free and Fair Elections”
Richard Hasen, an election law expert, argued that “the most common kind of voter fraud” is through mailed in ballots.
“When voter fraud does occur or when voter coercion does occur, it tends to occur with absentee ballots,” Hazen said in 2016, noting that any absentee votes could be bought, and without the protection of in-person voting, people can be pressured to vote another way. “When you’re in the privacy of the voting booth, that becomes impossible.”
Ronna McDaniel, the Chairwoman of the GOP, said in an opinion piece for Fox News that “the Republican Party will always defend free and fair elections,” especially during crises.
“That is why we will continue to fight and win against attempts by Democrats to use the pandemic as an excuse to circumvent election integrity,” McDaniel continued.
“We are all in this fight together. We will get through it,” she argued, adding that the Republicans “will not throw out our most elementary promises of democracy, because agenda-driven Democrats do not want to let a pandemic go to waste.”
I couldn’t agree more. The Democrats are exploiting this pandemic to push their own political agenda, once again. First it was radical left-wing policies forced into the coronavirus funding bill, now it’s voting by mail. Yes, we need radical action to stop this outbreak, but we don’t need the poison pills the Democrats are giving us.
