The Democrat Party Has Assaulted Lady Justice
Cartoonist Steve Kelley puts together one of the best political cartoons of the year as it perfectly captures how the Democrat Party has assaulted Lady Justice. Rarely does one come across a political cartoon so powerful that it makes you do a double take.
Steve Kelley has outdone himself with an effort that demonstrates it’s the Democrat Party that has not only ruined actual credible victims of sexual assault, they’ve also assaulted Lady Justice via a ridiculous smear campaign against Brett Kavanaugh.
In publishing the controversial but relatively accurate image, Kelley has successfully pointed out that Democrats’ smear campaign against Brett Kavanaugh could have implications for years to come on the justice system.
The cartoonist’s image shows Lady Justice, her robe being held up, disheveled, the scales of justice strewn about the floor while she thinks to herself, “#MeToo.”
Walking away from her is a jackass, the symbol of the Democrat Party, quickly getting himself dressed while he leaves the lady behind.

The syndicated cartoonist has implied that pursuing unproven accusations – from Christine Blasey Ford to Deborah Ramirez, and on to the nutty Julie Swetnick – against Judge Kavanaugh, violates the presumption of innocence.
“I can’t find a Democrat now saying they believe in the presumption of innocence,” Fox News host Sean Hannity claimed. “This now defines them.”
He’s right, and if you don’t believe him just listen to the Democrats own words.

When questioned by CNN’s Jake Tapper whether Kavanaugh deserved a presumption of innocence just like everybody else, Crazy Mazie Hirono deflected: “I put his denial in the context of everything that I know about him in terms of how he approaches his cases.”
New York’s other Senator, Kirsten Gillibrand, believes Kavanaugh is not entitled to a presumption of justice, nor is he entitled to due process. “Those are the standards for a trial,” the senator declared. “Those are the standards in criminal justice. We are not having a trial. This is not a court.” She continues, “He’s not entitled to those because we’re not actually seeking to convict him or put him in jail.”
It is a vile argument to assume somebody’s political position precludes them from basic fundamental rights in the public sphere.
That’s where we are, though. Democrats have set back the #MeToo movement for years by promoting truly unbelievable tales of sexual assault. Worse, they’ve violated the most important depiction of the concept of justice in our country.
Lady Justice may never be the same.
