It seems like only yesterday that Republican politicians were being accused of racism or even kidnapping for the ‘crime’ of bussing illegal immigrants to other cities.

Now, New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat, is bussing illegals to the frozen border of Canada. 

And not a peep from the mainstream media peanut gallery.

The New York Post reports that the mayor’s administration is paying multiple companies to provide “re-ticketing” services to those who wish to relocate to other locations.

Bussing Illegal Immigrants to Canada

The outlet points out that destinations are limited to within the United States, but “word has spread among the migrant community that Canada … is the place to go.”

As such, the illegal immigrants are being provided “free bus tickets” (free means taxpayer funded) to Plattsburgh, New York, about 20 miles south of the Canadian border.

“From there,” BBC News writes, “they pay taxis and shuttles to take them to Quebec.”

A spokesperson for Mayor Adams told the Post, “As we have said since the beginning of this crisis, our goal is (to) help connect asylum seekers who want to move to a different location with friends, family, and/or community and, if needed, re-ticket to help get people to their final destination, if not New York City.”

This is exactly what Republican governors in Texas and Florida have said when they’ve been bussing illegal immigrants to Democrat cities.

Adams, Democrats Are Hypocrites

When a Republican does it, the left accuses them of kidnapping and human trafficking. So what will they say now that Eric Adams is bussing illegal immigrants to within a short hike of the Canadian border?

What a raging hypocrite.

Adams, up until he got smacked with reality several months ago, had always bragged about New York City being a ‘sanctuary city.’

“New York City is, and has always been, a city of immigrants,” he said not that long ago.

Now, they’re just a pit stop on the way to the frozen tundra.

Oh well, at least they’ll be welcomed with open arms in Canada, where Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau once said illegals will be welcomed because “diversity is our strength.”

Or maybe not. 

Quebec immigration minister Christine Fréchette was caught off guard by the relocation effort and said it was “surprising” that Eric Adams would start bussing illegal immigrants to the Canadian border.

As such, she urged her country to crack down on the unofficial border crossing south of Montreal.

“I think it makes the urgency of the situation even more apparent,” Fréchette said of a loophole allowing the migrants to cross from New York.

Cracking down on border crossings hardly seems very neighborly.

Adams visited El Paso, Texas last month and described the Biden administration-fueled surge of illegal immigrants at the border as a “national crisis.”

Meanwhile, the NYC mayor couldn’t convince the illegal immigrants to move into a ‘mega-shelter’ in Brooklyn last week, but he somehow managed to convince them that Canada is a destination resort.
