David Hogg Embarrass Self – Michael Moore Takes Away His Mic

In encouraging Canadians to help the so-called “resistance” to President Trump during the coming midterms, anti-Second Amendment student activist David Hogg encouraged Canadians to break American campaign laws preventing foreign interference in American elections.

Hogg was speaking at the Toronto Film Festival to a sympathetic audience alongside filmmaker Michael Moore. Moore was there to promote his anti-Trump film “Fahrenheit 11/9.”

“I have a question for you guys: Who’s ready to save America? Who’s ready to make America the country we say it is on paper and make it the actual country that it wants to be?” Hogg asked the Canadian crowd. “I think the most important thing to realize, however, is the problems we face as a country, whether it be water in Flint, Michigan or the amount of mass incarceration of people of color that can’t vote.”

After that, Hogg suggested that Canadians donate money to American political campaigns, which would be a felony. Moore took the mic from Hogg’s hands after that. RELATED: Michael Moore Tells Socialists to Risk Their Bodies to Stop Trump.

And of course, Hogg would later talk about guns, spreading a debunked conspiracy theory about the NRA.

Ten minutes after his gaffe he was handed back the mic, telling the crowd that the Russians donated $30 million to the Trump campaign, which they supposedly laundered through the NRA. There are only records of $2,500 worth of donations to the NRA from Russian sources (which is legal, as long as they’re not used for election purposes), so Hogg’s conspiracy comes up $29,997,500 million short.

While initially starting as pro-gun control activists, most of the Parkland students that started the “March for Our Lives” movement have since started advocating for generically liberal or socialist policies and candidates. Had the Parkland students that spoke out following the massacre leaned conservative, they wouldn’t have gotten an ounce of media attention.

How do I know that? Because that’s exactly what happened following a school shooting at Santa Fe High School in Texas back in May. VICE News was one of the few outlets to interview some of the survivors at Sante Fe, and most echoed similar sentiments. “Those people who say we need gun control… I’m not going to say they’re idiots but…. they’re idiots” said one. No shortage of Parkland residents have criticized Hogg and company for showboating on a national stage – given that they’re encouraging people to get out and vote in the midterms, but didn’t knock on a single door to support the candidacy of the parents of Parkland victims in local elections.

I’d say that Hogg should stick to subjects he’s knowledgeable about, but that appears to be none of them.
