Dakota Access Pipeline Protesters Abandon Puppies in Freezing Cold Weather

Last week, far-left environmentalists protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline were forced to vacate a camp site in Bismarck, North Dakota or be arrested. In typical left-wing fashion, the protesters made sure to set uncontrolled fires before leaving the area.

Well, not only did protesters destroy their camp site, but it has been reported that these very same left-wing environmentalists abandoned puppies, leaving them to freeze outside.

From National Review:

Volunteers with the Furry Friends Rockin’ Rescue have found eight abandoned dogs — six of which are puppies — since campers vacated the premises.

With the volume of refuse left by protesters prompting cleanup teams to use heavy machinery, the conditions in the camp challenge even these experienced animal-rescue workers. “It’s a mess down there, so it’s really, really hard to find these animals and get them,” Julie Schirado told KYFR, a station based in North Dakota.

Credit to the Furry Friends Rockin’ Rescue: They have been helping to get the dogs warm, fed, and healthy, and they are doing what they can to connect with any of the animals’ owners:

While these far-left protesters were apparently concerned about the supposed environmental impact of the Dakota Access Pipeline, they couldn’t be bothered to care about innocent animals who deserve better than to be abandoned and left out in the cold like trash.

Thankfully Furry Friends Rockin’ Rescue stepped in to help out these innocent puppies and provide them the care and love that far-left environmentalists wouldn’t. The Dakota Access Pipeline protesters should be ashamed of themselves for letting 8 dogs suffer in the cold while they returned to their homes after destroying their campsite.
