CVS And Walgreens Announce Ban On Open Carry, Joining Walmart And Kroger

On Thursday, Walgreens and CVS made a huge change that will probably affect sales going forward, especially with gun owners.

These two national chains joined Walmart and Kroger by banning their customers from openly carrying firearms in their stores, even in states where it is legal.

“We support the efforts of individuals and groups working to prevent gun violence, and continually review our policies and procedures to ensure our stores remain a safe environment,” CVS said in a statement.

Why does the media never report on how many times a day, a week, a month, a year, guns are used to stop crime in the hands of private citizens? The answer simple: It does not fit their liberal agenda, and they will not promote any idea outside of what they want.

DEMS HAVE NO CLUE: Joe Biden’s Healthcare Plan Would Force Taxpayers to Pay for Abortions

Will we have retailers all over this country filled with law-abiding citizens with no way to protect themselves, while the criminal or mentally unstable individuals flood these establishments, packing? Sounds like a great plan. I feel safer already knowing that the only people in the store with guns are the criminals.

So, to understand this, when you walk up behind someone in plain clothes with a firearm on their belt, you should spin them around forcefully to see if they also have a badge on their belt, hanging from their neck, and if not, demand they produce it? This is a solution to a non-existent problem and may make it much worse for law enforcement not in uniform.

On Wednesday night, Fox News host Tucker Carlson blasted Walmart for their decision also to step selling certain sorts of gun ammunition. I rarely go to any of these stores and have even more reason not to now. I would never open carry and always conceal carry where allowed. Let these companies continue to suck up to the left.

Concealed is better, but the policy intimates that customers have a right to be victims rather than a right to defend themselves. This is going to become normal among big retailers as you see with CVS and Walgreens. Of course, this is irrelevant in the states that don’t permit open carry. It will be interesting to see what effect this has on mass shooting sites.
