Cruz Interrupted By Heckler, His Response Is EPIC – Trump Won’t Be Happy

Cruz

A heckler described as a pre-teen boy interrupted Texas Senator Ted Cruz during a speech in Indiana by yelling a fairly lengthy diatribe at first, then settling down with his closing argument: “You suck!”

Cruz, who is incredibly quick on his feet, didn’t miss a beat and issued a direct counter-punch that involved a put down of Donald Trump.

Cruz told the child he hopes somebody along the way had taught him that “children should actually speak with respect.”

“Imagine what a different world it would be if someone told Donald Trump that years ago,” he quipped.

As the child was whisked away by security, Cruz added this message to the sniveling youngster – “In my household, when a child behaved that way, they’d get a spanking.”

Via the Daily Caller:

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said a kid growing up in his household would have been spanked if they acted out the way a boy did towards him Sunday during a rally. The pre-teen boy was escorted out by local law enforcement when he told Cruz during a rally, “You suck.”

The incident began when Cruz talked about his tax plan and heard the boy’s voice screaming something un-intelligible to him from the crowd.

“Apparently there’s a young boy who’s had some problems,” Cruz said. The child yelled something unknown again at Cruz but then screamed louder, “You suck.”

“Thank you son. I appreciate you sharing your views. You know, hopefully one of the things somebody has told you is that children should actually speak with respect. Imagine what a different world it would be if someone told Donald Trump that years ago. In my household, when a child behaved that way, they’d get a spanking.”

It’s not the first time the Senator has compared Trump’s antics to those of a child. During a debate earlier in the campaign season, he encouraged Trump to “count to 10” when he wasn’t getting his way.

It’s also not the first time Cruz has mentioned spanking of an unruly child.

In January, the Washington Post was horrified to learn that the disciplinary method actually existed. During a campaign rally, Cruz brought up the fact that Hillary Clinton had told her daughter the Benghazi attacks were terrorist in nature, then later lied to the families of the victims by telling them it was caused by a YouTube video.

Cruz joked, “You know I’ll tell you, in my house, if my daughter Catherine, the five-year-old, says something she knows to be false, she gets a spanking.”

The Post recoiled in horror, with the overly dramatic headline, “Ted Cruz spanks his daughter, and Republicans are A-OK with that.” They then equated the practice with the Adrian Peterson case, adding “Cruz may have lost some general election votes in Massachusetts today.”

Comment: Do you think spanking is an acceptable practice, and would a disrespectful child like this learn to show more respect if he had been subject to it? Share your thoughts below.
