After criticizing President Trump’s attempt to secure our nation via a travel ban from countries with known terrorist activities, British Prime Minister Theresa May was herself the target of an Islamist assassination plot.
May had previously ripped the travel ban from terrorist countries as being “divisive and wrong.”
“This government is clear that that policy (travel ban ) is wrong,” May told Parliament in February. “We wouldn’t do it. We believe it is divisive and wrong.”
The President responded by saying, “Call it what you want, it is about keeping bad people (with bad intentions) out of country!”
Everybody is arguing whether or not it is a BAN. Call it what you want, it is about keeping bad people (with bad intentions) out of country!

May would have been wise to heed that advice.
Sky News is reporting that an Islamist assassination plot against May has been thwarted with the arrest of two men, Naa’imur Zakariyah Rahman and Mohammed Aqib Imran.
“It is in essence an extreme Islamist suicide plot against Downing Street,” Sky correspondent Martin Brunt reported. “Essentially police believe that the plan was to launch some sort of improvised explosive device at Downing Street and in the ensuing chaos attack and kill Theresa May.”

MI5 reports that they’ve thwarted nine terror attacks thus far in the past year, but warned that others have managed to slip through the cracks. Those others include an attack at Westminster Bridge in March that killed five, an attack at London Bridge which killed eleven, and an attack at an Arianda Grande concert at Manchester Arena that killed 22.
Just one week ago, President Trump issued a warning to May that she needs to stop focusing on him and start focusing on the threat of radical Islam in her own country.
.@Theresa_May, don’t focus on me, focus on the destructive Radical Islamic Terrorism that is taking place within the United Kingdom. We are doing just fine!

Imran, one of the suspects in the May plot, is also accused of trying to obtain a fake passport in order to leave the UK and travel to Libya.
Libya is one of the countries listed in Trump’s travel ban, a ban that was recently allowed to take effect by the Supreme Court.
