CNN anchor Don Lemon, expressing outrage that the President is set to fill another Supreme Court vacancy, suggested America needs to blow up the entire system.

The notion even left colleague Chris Cuomo a bit taken aback.

Lemon’s grievances surround Trump’s naming of a replacement for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg upon her recent passing.

“We’re going to have to blow up the entire system,” Lemon charged.

Cuomo replied, “I don’t know about that,” adding that Americans need to vote if they disagree with what is happening in the country.

Why Don Lemon Wants to Blow Up the System

Lemon’s issue isn’t the Supreme Court in a nutshell. It extends to a very basic tenet of liberal lunacy – the legitimacy of Trump’s presidency in the first place.

Specifically, the fact that he did not win the popular vote in 2016.

“You know what we’re going to have to do?” Lemon asked. “You’re going to have to get rid of the electoral college.”

“Because the minority in this country get to decide who our judges are and who our president is,” he continued. “Is that fair?”

The Electoral College, in part, prevents large pockets of the population – New York and California, for example – from deciding elections for the entire country.

So yes, it’s fair, Don.

Even Cuomo dismissed Lemon’s rant, explaining the elimination of the Electoral College would “need a constitutional amendment.”

Undeterred, Lemon demanded Democrats stack the court and get that ball rolling.

“If Joe Biden wins, Democrats can stack the courts and they can do that amendment and get it passed,” he fired back.

McEnany Hammers Lemon For the Suggestion

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany responded to Lemon’s rant by absolutely destroying him at today’s press briefing.

“Democrats cannot win their argument on the merits,” she began. “They cannot win on precedent, so they must search and destroy.”

“Don Lemon said the quiet part out loud last night,” McEnany continued.

“He said this: ‘We are going to have to blow up the entire system’ if the president does his job as outlined in the Constitution.”

“That’s the difference between Republicans and Democrats. We fight to protect the system,” she explained.

“We fight to protect the Constitution when Democrats say outright we are going to blow up the entire system because we do not get our way.”

Lemon’s comments are similar to a former CNN colleague, Reza Aslan, who called on rioters to “burn the entire f***ing thing down.”

Aslan warned that the Republican’s efforts to fill the Supreme Court vacancy would be met with resistance.

“Over our dead bodies,” he declared. “Literally.”

Civil war. Ironic, since Lemon himself once claimed President Trump was attempting to start one in this country.

“In exploiting people’s fear and anxiety, what he’s doing is possibly going to cause a civil war in this country, and I don’t necessarily mean a violent one,” he said.

There has been a litany of calls to violence on the left since the passing of Bader Ginsburg. The fact that a major network is a party to it and promoting it is shocking.
