RIO GRANDE CITY, TX - DECEMBER 07: A U.S. Border Patrol officer body searches an undocumented immigrant after he illegally crossed the U.S.-Mexico border and was caught on December 7, 2015 near Rio Grande City, Texas. Border Patrol agents continue to detain hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants trying to avoid capture after crossing into the United States, even as migrant families and unaccompanied minors from Central America cross and turn themselves in to seek assylum. Just when you thought things were getting better with President Trump, I have learned the Vera Institute of Justice recently launched their Safety and Fairness for Everyone–or “SAFE” Cities Network campaign to offer illegal aliens free legal advice in major metro cities.

If they really wanted these cities to be safe, they would concentrate on crime and abysmal education systems, which, in effect, create the criminals who roam the street.

Let me say this: I live in Baltimore, Maryland, and the best thing we can all do is hold the door for ICE as they are taking illegal alien criminals away.

Here’s a troubling stat via LawNewz: “In plain language, detained immigrants without attorneys had a success rate of around four percent while immigrants facing deportation with an attorney present had a success rate of roughly 48 percent.”

Of course, this makes perfect sense to politicians who spend taxpayers’ money. It’s only working Americans who oppose such nonsense.

From Vera’s press release: “SAFE Cities Network members come from 11 politically, economically, and ethnically diverse jurisdictions that are united in their commitment to the belief that, regardless of whether an immigrant will ultimately stay in the U.S. or leave, a crucial way to keep our communities safe is to ensure legal representation for those whose future depends on it.”

Here are the cities where they are rolling out this diabolical initiative: (1) Atlanta, Georgia; (2) Austin, Texas; (3) Baltimore, Maryland; (4) Chicago, Illinois; (5) Columbus, Ohio; (6) Dane County, Wisconsin; (7) Oakland-Alameda County, California; (8) Prince George’s County, Maryland; (9) Sacramento, California; (10) San Antonio, Texas; and (11) Santa Ana, California.

Deportation is a federal initiative that cities and counties have no jurisdiction over. Illegal aliens don’t have the same rights afforded to U.S. citizens because they are not U.S. citizens. Let them provide their own attorneys. After all, they are usually arrested for additional crimes, not just for being here illegally.

These people are so behind on what we already know. There are 11.6 million illegal aliens in our country! Some estimates say that over half of the 850,000 “Dreamers” are Mexicans who, if granted American citizenship, will be able to bring in thousands of their relatives under the “Chain Migration” act.

And the bobble heads in Washington do nothing. Tell your Congressman and U.S. Senators before we become another Mexico!

How do you feel about this decision to protect illegal aliens? SHARE your comments below and add this to your Facebook/Twitter timeline.
