Chris Cuomo Encourages Riots: ‘Show Me Where It Says Protesters Are Supposed To Be Peaceful’

Chris Cuomo Riots

CNN Chris Cuomo encouraged riots on his show, asking people to show him “where it says protesters are supposed to be polite and peaceful.”

Cuomo: “Too Many People See The Protests As The Problem”

Cuomo, the brother of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, seemed to back the violent riots in a segment on his CNN show on Tuesday.

“Now too many see the protests as the problem,” Cuomo said. “No, the problem is what forced your fellow citizens to take to the streets: persistent, and poisonous inequities and injustice.”

Cuomo asked his viewers to “please, show me where it says that protesters are supposed to be polite and peaceful. Because I can show you that outraged citizens are what made the country what she is and led to any major milestone.”

The CNN presenter claimed that the only people required to “be peaceful, to deescalate, to remain calm,” are the police.

It follows comments made by Cuomo about the riots on Friday, comparing them to the Boston Tea Party or the civil rights movement in the 1960s.

“People will judge it, that’s fine you should also judge the Boston Tea Party,” Cuomo argued. “You should also judge what happened in the 60s that led to the civil rights… most of the major movements in American history have started at the grassroots level and at some point have turned into direct conflict with the American government,” adding that people should “remember your history before you judge your present.”

How Can CNN Let A Presenter Endorse Violence Live On Air?!

If you couldn’t tell where the media stood on this issue, you can now. Whilst the media have had a leftist bias for decades now, it would have been unfathomable for a mainstream presenter on a huge network like CNN to come out and basically endorse violent riots live on air. The overton window in the mainstream is shifting so far to the left, this is what is acceptable now. If you haven’t cut the cord already, why not?
