San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz Is a Terrorist Sympathizer

Beware when you see a media narrative forming. That’s especially true on natural disasters, like the kind we’ve seen in Puerto Rico.

The most recent narrative we’re seeing is that the Trump Administration is ignoring Puerto Rico, or at least not giving the territory the same kind of attention that those affected by Hurricane Harvey in Texas received. Clueless pundits are chalking up the alleged inaction due to “racism,” which is a bit odd, given that half of Texas’ population is Hispanic or Latino.

Among those not peddling the narrative is the Governor of Puerto Rico – who was busy praising the Trump Administration’s response. He said in an interview with PBS, “First of all, we are very grateful for the administration. They have responded quickly. The president has been very attentive to the situation, personally calling me several times. FEMA and the FEMA director have been here in Puerto Rico twice.”

And yet the bogus narrative continues.

San Juan (Puerto Rico’s capital) Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz is among those lending credence to the narrative. Here she is begging for assistance from the U.S. government, while literally standing in front of aid provided to her by the U.S. government.

Oh, and did we mention she’s a socialist who sympathizes with terrorists? Of course that part didn’t make it’s way into the media’s reporting. According to the Daily Caller, Cruz “has previously praised FALN terrorist leader Oscar Lopez Rivera.”

The terrorist group that Lopez was part of, the FALN, fought for an independent communist state in Puerto Rico, and was responsible for over 100 bombings in New York, Chicago, and other U.S. cities.

Not only did she sympathize with the man, she appears to have been a personal friend of his. Last year she posted a tribute to Rivera, and wrote “for a great friend, a great patriot: for you Oscar Lopez Rivera.”

And there’s more…

And did I mention that she hates Trump as much as she loves this terrorist? The day before Election Day, she tweeted “I have had my differences with her and I submit them, but I can’t deny that it is ready and that Trump does not deserve to be Pres.”

She’s pushing a narrative – and the idiots in the media bought it hook, line, and sinker.

If the people of Puerto Rico are going to get through the ongoing disaster, they’ll need better leaders than a posturing partisan like Cruz.
