Does your average liberal hate Donald Trump’s policies – or just The Donald himself?
Given the overwhelming amount of media attention that is focused on the president’s temperament, it would be safe to assume the latter. Of course, I don’t mean to imply that liberal pundits personally disagree with Trump’s policies. What I mean is that liberals would rather demonize the president than actually refute any of his policies.
If the media presented Trump truthfully, more people might agree with him on issues.
It was just last week that senators Bernie Sanders and Ted Cruz faced off on CNN in a lively debate over Trump’s proposed tax plan. Anyone who took a shot every time Bernie said the words “millionaires and billionaires” would’ve died from alcohol poisoning within the first ten minutes. And, indeed, it’s a great strategy to criticize your opponent’s tax plan as being one catered towards the wealthy if you want to turn people against it.
But when the actual details are spelled out, people think otherwise. A reporter for Campus Reform asked a number of students at George Washington University if they supported some of the features of Trump’s tax plan… with a catch. They told them it was Bernie Sanders’s tax plan.
And it turns out – they LOVED the tax plan!
Just not when it was Trump’s.

This is just sad. Clearly these voters are uninformed and have been driven crazy by anti-Trump hysteria.
