California Law Registering Illegal Aliens To Vote Will Take Effect in April

california illegals vote

California has a new law taking effect on April 1st, but, unfortunately, it’s not an April Fool’s prank.

While presented as a common sense measure to make sure everyone with a driver’s license (and thus a photo ID) is registered to vote, the law, in reality, creates a loophole that allows illegal aliens to vote. The law in question, the “California New Motor Voter Act,” was signed into law in 2015, but its implementation was delayed until April 2018.

After it takes effect, everyone who applies for a driver’s license in the state of California will automatically be registered to vote. Those renewing their licenses by mail will also have the opportunity to register to vote. How does this help illegals? Because unlike every other state, California is extremely lax in requiring people to prove that they’re citizens upon obtaining a license.

According to the Daily Mail,

California has long provided driver’s licenses to anyone who claims to be in the country legally, whether they provide proof or not, which means illegal aliens will be registered to vote, WND reports.

‘We are very pleased that Californians will have easier access to voter registration,’ Jeremiah Levine, an attorney with Morrison Forester who represented the voting-rights groups said. ‘We are especially satisfied that changes will be made before California’s statewide and federal primary elections.’

Funny, he says he’s satisfied the changes were made before statewide elections as if that wasn’t the intent the entire time.

While a strong Democrat voting bloc as a state, California does have relatively low rates of voter registration, ranking 46th in the nation. That means 5.5 million eligible voters in the state are not registered, and proponents of the Act expect two million of them to register in the first year.

This law basically makes California a haven for illegal immigrants. Soon, I wouldn’t be surprised if more American citizens actually leave the state because they feel unwanted.
