If Mexico doesn’t end up paying for that border wall, it may fall on another enabler of illegal immigration: sanctuary cities.
As many of you are aware, there are hundreds of cities and counties nationwide that offer “sanctuary” status to illegal immigrants. Most simply don’t report illegal immigrants to federal authorities for the crime of being undocumented. However, the crazies in more liberal cities like NYC take it a step further.
NYC’s mayor Bill DeBlasio doesn’t even report illegals to federal law enforcement if they”re caught drunk driving, so long as they don’t harm anyone while drunk driving.
To little surprise, most illegals choose to reside in sanctuary cities. There are an estimated 10-15 million illegal immigrants in the U.S., and 60 percent live in just 20 sanctuary cities. Ironically, thanks to sanctuary cities, ICE is playing a game of hide and seek rigged in their favor. And also thanks to their refusal to comply with federal immigration law, Trump has signed an executive order allowing the federal government to withhold all federal grants from those cities, unless they are to abandon their sanctuary status.
If they don’t, there’s a heck of a lot of money on the line. Here’s just how much is at stake for the nation’s largest sanctuary cities:
Look at all sanctuary cities and the number of federal dollars they receive totals a whopping $27 billion.
Given that the higher estimates for the cost of Trump’s border wall are a hefty $25 billion, it’s clear what that money could be used for.
Let’s build a wall – and make the sanctuary cities pay for it.
These idiots don’t know the difference between Legal Immigration and INVASION. How sad they do not value the survival of America. We can only afford so many immigrants at a time.

$7.6 billion for that liberal, idiotic New York City? High time we stopped ALL funding for these cities and universities or school districts who continue to welcome in the criminal aliens who broke our laws by coming here in the first place.
We need that money for far more important things. Now we can stand by and watch these cities go down the tubes like the other liberal enclaves in this country.
The perfect solution to pay for the wall. I would do it in a minute and let the slimy democrats say whatever they say. They are a no-entity anyway as far as I am concerned.

should be esblished on money shioppiments by illegals to Mexico south and south Aamerican countries to help pay for their kids who are brought here afters illegals establish residence and
get work. Their kids are their responsibility andwhy should the tax payer be burdened such
expense. We must remember that illegals come for jobs but also because they have a magnet
which is all the free social benefits they get for free and they do not deseerve. They are illegals and not US citizens. Stop the free goodies a (magnets) and we will see a reduction in illegals in
the USA. We must not forget, Illegals also come from Africa, Europe and other countries and
enter with legal visas. Once visas expire, they simply get lost in the pop;ulation and because
our immigration system is so imperfect, no follow up is made of those type of violators.r

I wondered if/when someone would propose this obvious solution.
Especially considering many, if not all of these grants were intended for law enforcement. Cutting down on the endless flow of criminals to and from Mexico and other parts of the world is the cost effective way to fight crime of all kinds, including drug trafficking and the crimes committed to pay for the drugs.
Cutting down on the flow of drugs would also cause a drastic reduction in medical costs.

Having the sanctuary cities fund the wall is sort of like having Mexico build it.
The federal government has announced that Governor Jerry Brown and Mayor Deblasio are to be arrested on charges of aiding and abetting illegal murders, rapists and drug dealers in their states. Treason carries a possible life sentence in a Federal penitentiary for 50 to 100 years on each count.
