When neighbors in the vicinity of an apartment building where Anthony Weiner previously lived saw heavy police activity, they assumed it had something to do with the disgraced former Congressman.
Turns out, a 48-year-old woman was found inside a trash compactor at the luxury complex. Police say the woman was found inside the compactor unconscious and pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have yet to call the incident suspicious. Her purse was found just outside where she presumably went into the compactor.
Weiner and Abedin listed an apartment in the same building they had owned for 16 years in May of 2017 on the day he pleaded guilty to charges stemming from sexting a 15-year-old girl. (RELATED: Huma Abedin and Anthony Weiner Spotted For the First Time Since Sentencing).

The apartment listing was taken down days later, though records do not indicate whether they found a new renter or if the listing was taken down for other reasons.
Residents at the complex had been so accustomed to Weiner’s legal troubles, that the arrival of police drove them to assume it must have something to do with his conviction.
The Democrat was sentenced to 21 months in jail and three years of supervised release which will begin in August of 2019. (RELATED: Former Congressman Anthony Weiner Sentenced to 21 Months in Prison).

It was the FBI’s initial investigation into Weiner’s sexting with the minor that led to the agency uncovering Hillary Clinton’s emails on Abedin’s laptop.
The discovery then led to the famous “Comey letter” in October 2016, which Hillary believes caused her to lose the election.
Abedin did as well, breaking down in tears when she realized her husband had helped shine the spotlight back on Clinton’s irresponsible handling of classified information. (RELATED: Clinton: Huma Abedin Broke Down Crying After Husband’s Sexting Scandal Led to Email Investigation).
“This man is going to be the death of me!” she said while “bursting into tears,” Clinton said of Abedin in her book “What Happened.”
“Anthony had already caused so much heartache,” the former Democrat candidate for President lamented. “And now this.”
Abedin filed for divorce on the same day that they listed the aforementioned apartment. The couple later withdrew the divorce case with Abedin apparently unwilling to let go of a man who chose to sext underage girls.

Security footage reportedly shows the woman entering the building “shortly” before being found in the trash compactor. How she quickly ended up being found dead is a mystery at this stage.
The cause of death will be announced by the medical examiner.
This story is especially ironic given that this is not the first time Hillary Clinton has had ties to someone who died under mysterious circumstances. In 1993, Vince Foster, who was a Deputy White Hosue Counsel, committed suicide after a long bout with depression. His body was found in Fort Marcy Park, just miles from the White House. While there is no evidence that Mrs. Clinton had anything whatsoever to do with these two deaths, it is an odd coincidence none the less.
