White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre criticized Elon Musk for his remarks about Anthony Fauci, saying they were “incredibly dangerous” and “disgusting.”

As a refresher, last week Musk said, “My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci” – a rip on both the good doctor and extreme gender ideology.

A reporter at Monday’s press briefing asked Jean-Pierre for her reaction, and she didn’t disappoint.

“These attacks — these personal attacks that we’ve been seeing are dangerous — on Dr. Fauci and other public health professionals as well,” she griped. “They are disgusting and they are divorced from — from reality.”

It’s the kind of defense skeptics of lockdowns and vaccine efficacy have faced from the beginning – any criticism of Fauci is an ‘attack’ on ‘the Science’ and it’s ‘dangerous.’

“His work on infectious disease, from HIV/AIDS to COVID, has saved countless lives,” Jean-Pierre continued.

“You know, we are fortunate, I should say, that he has devoted his career and his life and his exceptional talent … to America’s public health,” she said. “And that’s what should be discussed right now. That’s what we should be thankful to him about.”

Karine Jean-Pierre Slams Musk For Criticizing Fauci

As readers of The Political Insider know, Fauci, who is set to leave his positions of Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and Chief of the NIAID Laboratory of Immunoregulation by the end of the year, received some mockery from Elon Musk.

Musk began by announcing that more ‘Twitter Files’ would be released pursuant to Fauci’s COVID response: “Oh, it is coming big time…”

The Twitter chief then tweeted out a meme of Fauci and President Biden with the caption, “Just one more lockdown, my king.”

A study by Johns Hopkins University published earlier this year showed COVID lockdowns, which Fauci heavily lobbied for in regard to schools, businesses, and even family gatherings did not work.

Musk then set social media on fire when he tweeted about prosecuting Fauci.

“My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci,” Musk quipped.

Musk Continues to Mock Fauci and His Supporters

Elon Musk didn’t exactly back away from his comments on the good doctor, Anthony Fauci. In a subsequent tweet, he laughed at the “Branch Covidians” upset with his comments.

“Branch Covidians” is a play on the “Branch Davidians” name of the cult that was led by David Koresh, insinuating people who blindly listen to Fauci’s advice or the advice of the government when it comes to COVID are part of a cult.

Anyone reading this has no doubt come across several, if not many such individuals over the last two years.

Aside from Karine Jean-Pierre’s response, Musk also received backlash from former CIA director and current MSNBC contributor John Brennan, who was practically verklempt that anyone would dare criticize Saint Anthony.

Musk chimed in after Townhall columnist Philip Holloway pointed out Brennan was allowed to voice his opinion on the newly free-speech Twitter platform.

“It looks like [Brennan] is exercising his freedom of speech to criticize [Musk] on the very social media platform Musk owns,” Holloway replied. “And Musk makes no effort to shut him down. This is how free speech and expression is supposed to work!”

Musk’s Twitter account is consistently the most entertaining thing to watch in media right now.

If he’s viewed the internal ‘Twitter Files’ and they’ve caused him to call for Fauci’s prosecution, then we’re popping up the popcorn on this end, waiting for the next document drop.

Fauci, in a recently published deposition, claimed that he never directly advised the Biden administration or Big Tech corporations to censor anti-lockdown posts.

Yet, he would publicly endorse specific policies and social media companies would obediently silence all views in conflict with those policies.

How bad was it? Perhaps Musk’s next reveal will tell.
