Benghazi Hero Suspended, Forced to Delete Tweet Critical of Obama

Kris Paronto, a former Army Ranger and military contractor who survived the Benghazi terrorist attack, became another of the many “wrong thinkers” that our left-wing overlords in Silicon Valley felt the need to silence.

In what may be one of the biggest social media fails of all time, Twitter user @itmustend_ tried to insult the intelligence of Robert O’Neill, the Navy SEAL who pulled the trigger and killed Bin Laden.

Previously, O’Neill blasted Obama who, in a blistering speech directed at President Trump, facetiously asked how difficult is it to criticize Nazis. O’Neill responded with, “Nazis are bad … Now try saying ‘Radical Islam…'”

Rather than letting O’Neill have the obvious victory in that exchange, @itmustend_ shot back, “He kinda killed Osama Bin Laden, so….”

A social media beatdown ensued, with numerous followers calling out the Twitter account for saying this to the man who actually killed Bin Laden.

One of those critical of the ridiculous comment was Paronto. He blasted out the kind of no-nonsense response you’d expect from the Benghazi hero.

“OMG??!! Did you just tell the guy who Shot Bin Laden that @BarackObama did it? BWAHAHAHA Thank you for verifying that BHussein Obama worship and TDS causes liberals to skip retard and go straight to potato. #YouAreAnIdiot #NeverGoFullRetard

And for that, he got into some trouble with the folks on Twitter.

The brass over at the social media giant suspended Paronto and forced him to delete the tweet critical of Obama and his fan prior to reinstating him.

@itmustend_ claimed they did not report Paronto’s tweet and they were not offended by it.

It is possible that use of the term ‘retard’ could have triggered the action, though that phrase is prevalent on Twitter and the comment was a clear reference to a famous line from the movie “Tropic Thunder.”

Obama, during his speech, dismissed those criticizing his response to the Benghazi terrorist attack as conspiracy theorists.

“The politics of division and paranoia has found a home, unfortunately, in the Republican party. … they’ve embraced wild conspiracy theories by those surrounding Benghazi,” he claimed. “Or my birth certificate.”

Paronto being targeted is another in a long line of examples in which right-leaning users are being suspended for relatively tame comments while truly obnoxious liberals are allowed to go unscathed.

This past summer, conservative commentator Kathleen McKinley discovered she had been suspended after posting something critical of transgenders in the military.

Another conservative, Candace Owens, took racist, anti-white comments made by New York Times editorial board member Sarah Jeong, then changed the word “white” to “Jewish” and “black.”

The vile comments, deemed okay by Twitter when they were attacking whites, then became intolerable bastions of hate when they said the same exact thing about another race.

And now, dismiss the reality of four Americans dying as a conspiracy, but criticize the man who failed to send help that day and you’re off social media.

Of course, on the other side of the aisle, you have people like notorious anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, leaders from terrorist organizations such as Hamas, and even former Iranian dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad actively working the platform.

The latest dust-up comes amidst last week’s Senate Intelligence Committee hearing in which Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey faced questions about censorship of conservative content.

This surely won’t help Dorsey’s argument that, “We do not look at content with regards to political viewpoint or ideology.”

Hard to make that assertion based on the above history.
