What Ben Carson Just Said About Obama’s Race Will Leave The President FURIOUS

Ben Carson

Was Barack Obama really the first black president? Based on his real-world experiences, Dr. Ben Carson isn’t quite so sure.

During an interview with Politico, Carson said the President was “raised white” and that Obama’s claims that he can identify with most black Americans “is a bit of a stretch.”

Leftists who would normally try to cast these comments as racist are going to have their heads explode since Carson of course is black, and actually can identify with the black community.

Via The Hill:

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson says President Obama was “raised white.”

“I mean, like most Americans, I was proud that we broke the color barrier when he was elected, but I also recognize that his experience and my experience are night and day,” Carson, the only black presidential candidate, told Politico’s Glenn Thrush in a podcast published Tuesday.

“He’s an ‘African’ American, as opposed to an African-American,” Thrush interjected.

“He’s an ‘African’ American. He was, you know, raised white,” the retired neurosurgeon responded. “Many of his formative years were spent in Indonesia. So, for him to, you know, claim that, you know, he identifies with the experience of black Americans, I think, is a bit of a stretch.”

Carson went on to say that the way the left has treated him as a presidential candidate has been truly “racist,” explaining “they assume that because you’re black you have to think a certain way.”

President Obama’s supporters have long been the true racists, viewing every criticism of Obama as being solely motivated by the color of his skin, not because of the lack of content in his character. And when it comes to a conservative African-American like Carson, the left attacks them relentlessly.
