Barack Obama Returning to the Political Arena – Will Offer Criticism of Trump

Not sure you can effectively criticize a man who has had to spend nearly two years correcting all of your mistakes but …

Barack Obama is said to be returning to the political arena just in time to help Democrats in the midterm elections with a speech on Friday that will be harshly critical of his successor.

The scheduled speech will be delivered when he accepts an ethics in government award at the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign.

You read that right – he’s receiving an award for being ethical.

His advisers are promoting the event as the seminal moment Obama officially reengages in politics, something top Democrat candidates have been hoping for of late.

One aide told the Associated Press that Obama’s speech would include “pointed” remarks on the current political environment, including President Donald Trump and what has led to his rise in American politics. In other words, get ready to be called a racist and a bigot for the umpteenth time.

In addition to his welcome back speech, the former president will make traditional campaign stops to rally voters for several Democratic congressional candidates in California, followed by another rally the following week to stump with Richard Cordray, the Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Ohio.

Trips to Illinois and Pennsylvania are also in the works.

In a reminder of the corruption that follows a man about to emerge into the political foray and receive an ‘ethics’ award, reports surfaced on Wednesday indicating Obama had threatened to cancel a taxpayer-funded speech in Denmark if anyone dares to release details of his contract, including what he’ll receive in speaking fees.

How transparent.

Meanwhile, former First Lady Michelle Obama is also diving into the political arena, making appearances in Las Vegas and Miami with her far-left, thoroughly partisan voter drive organization, “When We All Vote.”

In June, President Obama held private meetings, coaching Democrat hopefuls on how they can beat Trump in 2020. He met with a wide range of hopefuls such as Bernie Sanders, Eric Holder, Elizabeth Warren, and his partner in crime, former Vice President Joe Biden.

Sources indicated Obama had been teaching the potential Trump foils “on how to respond to the president, positioning and broader challenges with the party.”

Be careful what you wish for Dems – their savior has a terrible track record of helping colleagues secure electoral victories. His very presence could end up killing momentum in the so-called ‘blue wave.’

The 2016 presidential election itself was widely seen as a referendum on a perceived third term for Obama, as Hillary would have continued his policies.

Obama would also frequently remind voters that while he wasn’t on the ballot in 2010, 2014, and 2016, his policies were. The American electorate responded by delivering historic losses for the Democrat Party at every level of government.
