Ayanna Pressley, Member Of AOC’s ‘Squad,’ Calls For The Incarcerated To Be ‘Prioritized’ For Vaccine

Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), a member of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) radically liberal “Squad,” went on CNN on Sunday to call for the incarcerated to be “prioritized” and pushed to the front of the line when it comes to getting the COVID-19 vaccine.

Pressley Admits She Got Vaccine

Pressley, who admitted that she had just been given the vaccine herself one day before the interview, proudly said that she would “continue to fight for our most vulnerable” and communities “disproportionally impacted” by the coronavirus pandemic. In her mind, these groups include healthcare workers as well as incarcerated people.

“I did have the vaccine administered yesterday in order to maintain the continuity of government, but also because I live with like millions of Americans — two preexisting conditions — and doing my part, both to keep myself safe so that I can continue to do my job to fight for my district and the American people, keeping my family safe, but also stopping the spread of this virus which has raged out of control, which has everything to do with the willful criminality of Donald Trump,” Pressley said, trying to excuse why she got the vaccine before many healthcare workers and elderly Americans have.

“At the end of the day, I think this is what is in the best interest of our public health,” the congresswoman later added. “I trust Dr. Kizzy and the vaccine, and that’s why I had it administered.”

Pressley Calls For Incarcerated People To Be Given Priority

“And I want to say thank you to all the scientists and all the researchers, and I’m going to continue to fight for our most vulnerable communities who have been disproportionally impacted by the virus, for our health care workers, for our essential workers, for our incarcerated men and women to be prioritized in the distribution of the vaccine,” she continued.

Once again, the radically leftwing side of the Democratic Party is unapologetically prioritizing criminals ahead of law-abiding American citizens. This serves as a reminder that the stakes have never been higher when it comes to controlling Congress, as there’s no telling how far these crazy Democrats will go if they get more power.
