The hashtag #ArrestFauci began trending over the weekend as reports surfaced that Doctor Anthony Fauci’s agency, the National Institutes of Allergy & Infectious Disease, used taxpayer funds to finance cruel experiments on dogs.
One such experiment included $375,000 given to a Tunisian research lab that placed beagle puppies’ heads in cages filled with sand flies which would then eat them alive.
Another experiment involved dogs being “debarked” then pumped with drugs, killed, and dissected.
Some incredibly disturbing images of the experiments were shared on social media and the hashtag #ArrestFauci became very popular. It is still trending as of this morning.
“The fact that Fauci is still walking around free and is doing media appearances without a single ‘journalist’ asking him about gain of function and #puppygate, is a true testament to how far gone this country is,” tweeted conservative author Melissa Tate.
“God help us #ArrestFauci.”

A bipartisan group of lawmakers is now calling on Dr. Anthony Fauci to answer for the puppy experiments.
A letter from legislators, including nine Democrats and fifteen Republicans, refers to the dog experiments as “cruel” and a “reprehensible misuse of taxpayer funds.”
Video of some of the treatment of the animals has also surfaced on social media which, we warn you, is rather disturbing. We’re not going to post the video here, because it just seems like too much to take in.
Instead, there is this …
Dr. Fauci’s NIH funded $1.7m to debark, drug and then kill and dissect beagle puppies. I led a letter on Friday demanding answers from Fauci. It’s disgusting, cruel and our dollars shouldn’t pay for it. ➡️ https://t.co/PkKXjKpTv3 pic.twitter.com/TFsmONJM10

Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC) is leading the effort by lawmakers to get answers from Fauci on the unreal experiments on the beagle puppies.
“The $1.68 million of taxpayer funds to force-feed and/or inject dozens of beagle puppies with experimental drugs is unnecessarily brutal and gruesome. Dr. Fauci and the rest of the NIH leadership should come forward and explain what the hell is truly going on,” Mace said.

The bipartisan letter asks Fauci to respond to inquiries regarding the experiments by November 19th.
It would seem trending hashtags like #ArrestFauci are now the least of his worries.
Yesterday, I sent a letter to Dr. Fauci regarding cruel, taxpayer-funded experiments on puppies; debarking before drugging and killing them. Thankful to my 23 democrat and republican colleagues who signed on. This is disgusting. What say you @NIH pic.twitter.com/c54SXipD9Q

Report: Fauci Lied to Congress
The controversy over dog experimentation comes as Dr. Fauci found himself in hot water last week as the National Institute of Health (NIH) appears to have contradicted his repeated claims to Congress that they never funded gain-of-function research prior to the deadly COVID-19 outbreak.
Last week, a letter from a top NIH official admitted that American taxpayer dollars had funded gain-of-function research – specifically, research on bat coronaviruses – in the Chinese Wuhan lab.
Gain-of-function research is medical research that genetically alters an organism in a way that may enhance its biological functions so that scientists can investigate better ways to fight the more lethal and infectious pathogens.

Fauci repeatedly insisted during Senate testimony that the research funded by the NIH at the Wuhan lab did not qualify as “gain-of-function.”
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) accused Fauci of “lying,” an assertion the good doctor did not take kindly.
“I have never lied before the Congress, and I do not retract that statement,” Fauci replied. “You do not know what you are talking about quite frankly and I want to say that officially.”
“If anybody is lying here, Senator, it is you.”

NIH Director Francis Collins has since covered for Fauci saying the Wuhan experiments did not involve gain of function.
Bryan Dean Wright, a former CIA officer and member of the Democratic Party, points out that outrage over the dog experiments should at the very least equal outrage over Fauci’s handling of the pandemic.
“If you’re angry about how Fauci uses puppies, just wait until you hear how he uses COVID vaccines on healthy kids,” he tweeted, along with the #ArrestFauci hashtag.
Still, Wright adds, if that’s what it takes to end Fauci’s career, he’s onboard.
“If it takes some puppies and an end to animal testing to bring down Fauci, I’m all in,” he wrote.
