Following last week’s vote by the Maricopa County, Arizona GOP to censure Cindy McCain, widow of the late senator John McCain, the state’s Republican Party is considering a similar measure.
The state party vote is expected to take place on January 23rd.
The Maricopa County censure railed against Mrs. McCain as a “troubled individual, with a past riddled with drug abuse and illegalities associated with such behavior.”
The measure also notes that McCain has supported “leftist causes” including gay marriage, big government, and “others that run counter to Republican values.”
Well, that and going well out of her way by helping to place a pro-abortion, anti-Second Amendment, high-taxing, left-wing ideologue in the White House.

Cindy McCain Could Receive Censure From State GOP
It’s confounding to try and understand why the Maricopa County GOP resolution would go after Mrs. McCain’s personal struggles with addiction.
Especially when there is far more relevant material with which to issue a censure.
Hopefully, the state Republican Party will have enough sense to remove that aspect from the measure they plan to vote on come January 23rd.
Meghan McCain, co-host of ‘The View’ and daughter to Cindy and John, ripped the county party for the censure.
“Oh how will she ever survive such a thing?!?” McCain mocked in a tweet. “And this is THE REAL problem facing the Arizona GOP, my mom! A few days after a domestic terror attack led by maniac Trump supporters.”

McCain Deserves The Rebuke
Despite the questionable timing of the censure, and the odd section about addiction, there is little doubt the Republican Party needs to point out Cindy McCain’s obvious betrayal to her party and, quite frankly, to the country.
Shortly after the election, conservative radio talk show host Mark Levin sarcastically congratulated Mrs. McCain for being responsible for Biden’s win in Arizona.
Levin also accused her of settling a score by “screw(ing) over the rest of the country.”
Neither of those opinions is incorrect.
Congratulations Cindy McCain. You helped cost us Arizona.

“This is how she pays you back,” Levin told the “tens of millions” of people “who supported her husband against Barack Obama.”
As the sun sets on 2020, remember that we’re never going back to the party of Romney, Flake, and McCain. The Republican Party is now, and forever will be, one for the working man and woman! God bless. https://t.co/L92mXiNWPi

Cindy McCain gloated over Biden’s election victory just days later to a very favorable left-wing audience on CNN.
“I think my husband would be very pleased,” McCain said. “We were good friends with the Bidens. And I just know he is looking down and going, ‘You did the right thing.'”
‘Doing the right thing’ as Cindy claims John McCain would have been pleased with, apparently involves selling out every one of your principal beliefs because President Trump was personally unpleasant to you.
One would assume the McCain family’s Republican values would include being pro-life, lower taxes, and freedom from government, yes?
Imagine being so entrenched in the “orange man bad” philosophy that you abandon jobs and the economy, freedom, and the lives of the unborn.
What a disgrace. Cindy McCain most certainly deserves the censure.
