Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) accused governors Greg Abbott and Ron DeSantis of committing “crimes against humanity” by sending illegal immigrants to deep blue sanctuary cities.
Which says a lot about those locations.
The New York socialist sent out a series of tweets in which she blasted DeSantis and Abbott for their tactics in dealing with illegal immigrants by shipping them out of their respective states of Texas and Florida.
“It’s appalling that far-right politicians seem to have decided that fall before an election is their regularly scheduled time to commit crimes against humanity on refugees,” she tweeted late last week.
What’s truly appalling is that there is no level of hyperbole the former bartender is unwilling to use in order to believe she’s making a point. Reducing the seriousness of actual people who commit actual crimes against humanity.
Ocasio-Cortez also accused Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Texas Governor Greg Abbott of “trafficking people” to get “clicks.”
AOC said that, completely oblivious to the irony that she uses and abuses phrases like ‘crimes against humanity’ and ‘trafficking’ as a way to get social media clout from progressives.
Ocasio-Cortez’s comments also demonstrate there isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between the extreme elements of her party and the mainstream.
California governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat considered as a viable presidential option should Joe Biden not run in 2024, also ramped up the dumbed-down rhetoric by writing a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland suggesting he pursue “kidnapping” charges against DeSantis for flying illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard.
In further embarrassing comments, AOC praised rich, white progressives on Martha’s Vineyard for their response to the influx of just a few dozen illegal immigrants, saying her party “understand(s) that immigrants and refugees are a blessing.”
DeSantis sent two planes full of illegal immigrants to the island last week, prompting officials there to declare the relatively small number to be an “unexpected urgent humanitarian situation.”
Contrary to AOC’s assertion, they weren’t considered a blessing of any sort and were quickly removed from the island by the Massachusetts National Guard to a military base within 48 hours.
When DeSantis flew them to an affluent playground for the rich and famous, it was a ‘crime against humanity.’ When the rich people ship them the hell off their island, it’s a demonstration that liberals find them to be a ‘blessing.’
Sure thing.
Back in the day – BB, or Before Biden – AOC would have equated moving illegal immigrants to a military base to sending them to “concentration camps.”

There is so much to unpack here.
The fake news media make it a point not to report on the conditions on the southern border at all.
If they did you would see that the real crime against humanity is the number of immigrants that have died attempting to cross into the country illegally. People have drowned in the river, hundreds have died attempting to escape through the desert. There is the human trafficking of people who have died packed in the back of trucks or crammed into over crowed houses. Many of the immigrant including women and children are used as prostitutes or go to work in drug houses.
Then there’s the hundreds of pounds of fentanyl that kill 300 people a day in this country alone.
Those reasons are enough to explain why neither Bidden or Harris will refuse to go to that border.
What's different? Do you need to ask?? It's BIDEN, who has a "D" after his name (should stand for "dumba$$). You really think she would react this way if he did it?

Apparently, "sanctuary" only applies to the criminals that commit heinous crimes in those cities with little to no repercussions. But not to live the American dream. Only the privileged and elite are to live well and happy there, for they also have security, just in case those criminals are able to visit THEIR neighborhoods.
Does she really believe that SANCUARY CITIES should not give SANCUARY to the Illegal Aliens that are coming into this country? What has been sent to the Sanctuary Cities is a minute part of what is coming across the OPEN BORDER that the Government Officials keep telling us is CLOSED. Joe Biden does the same thing, he just does it in the dead of night so it can't be seen yet this is not considered HUMAN TRAFFICKING. The left and AOC is being their usual Bigoted and hypocritical selves. Double Standard at it finest.
Let's see, Biden ships the Illegals all over the country, in the middle of the night, without asking the States, and it's ok, but if a Republican Governor does the same thing, it's a Crime against " Humanity " . The Difference being the states where the Governors are sending them , in broad daylight, are States that have said, on numerous occasions, " The Illegal Immigrants, are welcome there, and would be protected from being Deported, from the Country,even though they broke the law! Now the question is, should the illegal Immigrants ( Aliens) stay in States that do not want them,don't have the means to properly care, for the Hundreds of Thousands that cross the border, or should they be sent to the States, ( only 50 to a hundred at a time) that want them there, and have openly requested they come there. Which should it be ? What is more Human ?
Everything cortes has done since she has been in congress is a crime against humanity and that includes her equally ignorant squadmates. They should start giving IQ tests to congress folks and I am sure that waters, biden, harris, cortes, schiff, shumer and many others would not reach a very low bar

How dumbly hypocritical can you get? How unconstitutional can you get. Equal treatment under the law.is thrown overboard by the left. Those brought in to our country by the administration and like minded sanctuary cities flouting the imigration laws says its okay to dump them in some one elses cities and homes but not those who are directly responsible for them being in our country. Just a general lack of a sense of fairness is tells you these people are totalitarian elites and those dupes supporting them are over the top.
Why don,t AOC move to the border area ! She talks about cleaning our planet but she still takes airplanes to Florida and other states. I bet she did not turn off the gas in her home! What about her soon to be Husband gas car!!
