AOC Says Trump ‘Afraid of Strong Women,’ Denies Being a Socialist

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed President Trump is “afraid” of “strong women” and denied the obvious fact that she’s a socialist.

The New York Representative made the comments during an interview with Noticias Telemundo and Correspondent Guadalupe Venegas, who baited her by reminding viewers of comments Trump has made regarding her craziness.

“One of the most controversial people with whom you have had exchanges is the president, Donald Trump. He called you a whack-job on social media. He called you crazy, right?” Venegas asked. “What do you think about the president?”

AOC suggested his disagreeing with her is a good thing because … well, racism!

“I think that if the president is calling me crazy, that’s good,” she replied. “It’d be a problem if he said he agreed with me because he has a lot of issues. He’s a racist and he’s anti-immigrants, but more than that, his administration is very corrupt.”

Ocasio-Cortez added, “I think he has a track record of … I think he’s afraid of women, of strong women, of Latina women.”

Denies Being a Socialist

It’s an absurd assumption that President Trump is afraid of strong women.

First Lady Melania Trump is a strong woman, and he seems to be just fine with that. He’s had numerous strong women as part of his administration, including Nikki Haley, Kellyanne Conway, Betsy Devos, to name a few.

“At the beginning of the third year of his first term as president,” the Washington Examiner reports, “Trump has seven female top advisers, as compared to five for Obama, three for Bush, and five for Clinton at that point.”

What he IS afraid of, however, are anti-American women too lacking in self-awareness to understand that they’re anti-American.

AOC followed up one lie with another, claiming the term socialist is a bit strong in describing her.

“When the president or people call me [socialist], I always say, ‘Look at our policies, what we’re proposing.’ We’re not advocating total control of the economy,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

“We’re talking about humane economic rights. We’re talking about education, healthcare, and fair wages,” she continued. “Here in the US, those values are called socialist values, but to me that says a lot about where we are in the US. Basic human rights are considered socialist.”

Yep, She’s a Socialist

Ocasio-Cortez has repeatedly identified herself as a “Democratic Socialist,” so denying that fact when others label her as such is futile.

Here’s a video of her explaining that there’s room in the Democrat party for extremist socialists like herself:

Even beyond labels, AOC’s actions speak louder than words.

  • She advocates for as many Americans as possible to be reliant on government handouts.
  • AOC would even like to see illegals getting welfare benefits.
  • Pushed a massive and complete government takeover of anything from transportation, to healthcare, to a “public option guarantee” for jobs, to implementing a “social and ecological transformation to save the planet.”
  • Recently said Obamacare was too complex and wished for even more government control of insurance options.

Senator Lindsey Graham, appearing on ‘Fox & Friends’ over the summer, leveled AOC and her ‘squad’ in a rant defining them as “anti-American” and “a bunch of communists.”

President Trump, during his last State of the Union address, vowed that America would never succumb to the travesty of AOC socialism.

“Here, in the United States, we are alarmed by new calls to adopt socialism in our country,” Trump announced. “America was founded on liberty and independence — not government coercion, domination and control. We are born free, and we will stay free.”

“Tonight, we renew our resolve that America will never be a socialist country.”

It looks like he’s not afraid of strong socialists after all.
