AOC Cites ‘Kids In Cages’ In Supporting Biden, Forgets He And Obama Did The Same Thing

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed her support for Joe Biden is fueled by the notion that “we have kids in cages,” something that also took place under the Obama-Biden administration.
The New York socialist and symbol of the new Democrat party made the comments in an interview with the ladies of ‘The View’ in mid-April.
“I think, you know, I think right now just the stakes are too high when it comes to another four years of Trump,” AOC claimed.
“My community especially has been so impacted, and it’s, you know, for a lot of communities, this is an issue of life and death,” she fretted. “We’ve had kids in cages.”

Let’s Talk About Those Kids in Cages
AOC went on to mention other aspects of the Trump presidency she detests, but the ‘kids in cages’ comments are especially noteworthy.
“One of these two candidates are going to be elected president of the United States. It’s either going to be Joe Biden or it’s going to be Donald Trump, and I think it’s important to, you know, communicate some empathy,” said Ocasio-Cortez.
Where were those calls for empathy when Biden, along with former President Barack Obama, was the one placing kids in temporary holding areas?

There When They Were Built
Thomas Homan, the executive associate director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the Obama-Biden administration, says he was there when they were building cages to house illegal immigrants.
“I’ve been to that facility, where they talk about cages. That facility was built under President Obama under Secretary Jeh Johnson,” Homan explained at a conference hosted by the Center for Immigration Studies. “I was there when it was built.”
It would seem empathy for children is something that didn’t exist the last time Biden was in a position of authority.
In fact, Democrats like AOC are so delusional they tried taking an actual photo of kids in cages under the Obama-Biden administration and pin it on President Trump.
Or, like left-wing author Jose Antonio Vargas, they shared fake photos of kids in cages.

Speaking of staging things, AOC got her crocodile tears on and communicated some fake empathy during a trip to a detention center in El Paso, Texas in 2018.

Funny how nobody cared enough to at least fake tears when Obama and Biden were doing the same exact thing.
AOC might want to cite different reasons for supporting Biden in the future, otherwise, this will be another travesty from his two terms as vice-president that he’ll have to explain.
