Alyssa Milano Apologizes for Bizarre Rant in Which She Claimed to Be a Gay Man

'Charmed' star and Democrat activist also insisted she was a 'person of color' and 'disabled'

Actress and Democrat activist Alyssa Milano sent out what was arguably the most bizarre tweet on International Women’s Day.

She even ended up apologizing for it later.

The “Charmed” star began the day by sending out the typical “attempt to be woke” message we see from celebrities every single day.

“My transgender sisters! I am celebrating YOU this #NationalWomensDay!” tweeted Milano.

A user then asked the actress if she was transgender —and Milano’s response was confusing, irritating, logic-defying, and, above all, priceless.

“I’m trans. I’m a person of color. I’m an immigrant. I’m a lesbian. I’m a gay man. I’m the disabled. I’m everything. And so are you, Kirk. Don’t be afraid of what you don’t know or understand. No one wants to hurt you. We are all just looking for our happily ever after,” she wrote.

The tweet brought mocking on Milano’s head from people on both sides of the political aisle.

“You are a rich, white celeb who’s the worst type of feminist,” wrote musician Joy Villa in response.

“Justified” star and “Gosnell” director Nick Searcy called out Milano for her attempt to be a victim.

Check out some other reactions below:

After being called out enough, Milano addressed the quote — and apologized for offending anyone.

“I’m glad this tweet invoked conversation. I’m so sorry it offended some. I see you and hear you. But just a reminder, empathy is not a bad thing. Nuance is important and literal interpretation is not always intended. And I can identify with and not identify as. Both are powerful,” the actress wrote.
