Self-described “Democratic-Socialist” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had a miserable Tuesday night. The socialist, who pulled off an amazing victory last month in New York, tried to use her media attention to help other far-left Democrats win their primaries this week.

Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair Tom Perez may think Ocasio-Cortez is the future of the Democrat Party, but apparently, voters don’t agree. (RELATED: Cortez Flubs Question on Funding Socialism Again).

The results of her endorsements this week were as disastrous as the Soviet Union’s economic model:

For those keeping track at home, Abdul El Sayed lost his campaign in the Michigan gubernatorial primary, 51.8 percent to 30.5% percent.

Ocasio-Cortez also stumped for Fayouz Saad in Michigan’s 11th District, Cori Bush in Missouri’s 1st District, Abdul El-Sayed for Michigan Governor, and supported Congressional Candidate Kaniela Ing in Hawaii.

Bush lost to William Lacy Clay, 57 percent to 37 percent. Now we’ll have to see what happens in Hawaii’s primary elections, which take place on August 11. Considering the track record of Ocasio-Cortez’s endorsed candidates, the odds in the Aloha State are not good.

As The Daily Caller reports, Oscasio-Cortez was busy on the campaign trail: “In the lead-up to Tuesday’s primary, following her own upset win in New York’s 14th District, Ocasio-Cortez traveled to St. Louis to campaign for Bush, claiming from the stage that the democratic socialist movement “knew no zip code.” Just one day earlier in Kansas City, both Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Sanders had cheered the Midwest’s warm welcome, noting that Democratic Socialism wasn’t as taboo a subject in the Midwest as some might expect. But as local radio host Annie Frey noted on her radio show, people in the Midwest typically offer a warm welcome to everyone.”

Apparently, the far-left socialist message is not as popular in the Midwest as media elites want you to believe.
