After Michael Flynn’s Sentencing Hearing – Trump Supporting Woman Assaulted

Following Michael Flynn’s sentencing hearing, which was postponed until March, a female Donald Trump supporter was attacked and assaulted in the middle of recording a video.

The pro-Trump supporting woman had just come out of the hearing and began recording a video of her reaction. A little over a minute into her recording, another woman comes up to her and slaps her, knocking her phone out of her hand. The phone goes flying off the curb and lands underneath a parked car.

When she asks a bystander, “Did you just see that?” The bystander confirms the assault saying, “Yeah.” However, the Trump supporter, while initially flustered, appears to take the assault in stride, “I guess I’m going to ignore that. A woman just came up and smacked me. Okay. Wonderful. Anyways it was a good day for Flynn. There are some angry people in the world. I’m going to pray against that evil.”

Take a look:

This type of behavior against people who support Donald Trump and Republicans has become more and more common during Donald Trump’s time as President of the United States.

In October, Republican Minnesota State Representative Sarah Anderson was assaulted after spotting a man destroying Republican yard signs. The man charged at her and then punched her. Anderson recalled the encounter, “It was just insane. He was charging at me, saying, ‘Why don’t you go kill yourself?’ To have someone physically coming after you and attacking you is just disheartening.”

Anderson wouldn’t be alone in being physically attacked. Her colleague Shane Mekeland was also attacked while speaking at a restaurant. The attack left him with a concussion. Mekeland reported he suffered memory loss and his doctors told him it would take four to six weeks in order to recover. Mekeland detailed the encounter saying he sucker punched while sitting at a high top table. The punch knocked him to the ground where his head hit the floor.

Not only have Republican elected officials been targeted, but Republican headquarters have also been vandalized. In Iowa, the Johnson County Republican Headquarters was vandalized with tampons and vulgar signs. Republican David Barker noted the vandalism was “a sign that things are moving in the wrong direction but we’re doing fine and our office is operating just fine.” I think moving in the wrong direction is a wild understatement. Things are going from bad to worse in a hurry.

Another Republican Party Office in South Daytona, Florida was vandalized when someone opened fire on the headquarters. The windows were blasted out and glass was scattered throughout the building’s entrance. Police discovered four bullet holes inside.

Maybe one of the most egregious examples happened less than a month ago when Illinois State Representative Stephanie Kifowit threatened to not only kill her fellow State Representative Peter Breen, but also threatened to poison his loved ones with a broth of Legionella. She went into detail about how she wanted to pump it into their water system and watch them slowly die.

There have been plenty of other cases of violence made against Republicans and Donald Trump supporters. It doesn’t seem like it’s going anywhere anytime soon especially when many American voters decided to empower Democrats, many of whom have called for increased violence against Republicans and Donald Trump supporters.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear like there will be a solution to the increased violence and harassment. And given the total witch hunt by Mueller, one can’t really put their trust in the United States’ justice system to protect American citizens who are victims of this harassment and violence. In fact, the New Jersey government has instituted a law banning magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. Not only that, but Breitbart reports that the New Jersey police have not ruled out door-to-door checks in order to confiscate magazines.

We live in troubling times when we are seeing increased targeted political violence, and an increase in governments actively trying to keep law-abiding citizens from defending themselves from such violence.
