World Series Champion Curt Schilling is in hot water with the lefty crowd – who want men to be able to enter women’s bathrooms. On Monday, the World Series MVP pitcher reposted the following transgender meme (since deleted) on his Facebook page with the comment, “A man is a man no matter what they call themselves. I don’t care what they are, who they sleep with, men’s room was designed for the penis , women’s not so much. Now you need laws telling us differently? Pathetic.”
If you couldn’t read the text in the meme, it said, “LET HIM IN! To the restroom with your daughter or else you’re a narrow minded, judgmental, unloving, racist bigot who needs to DIE!!!”
Predictably, people told him he’s “a narrow minded, judgmental, unloving, racist bigot who needs to DIE!!!”
.@gehrig38 great post, but you spelled "I'm a narrow-minded drunk" wrong

In responding to the brouhaha on his blog, Schilling appeared to distance himself from the meme, but stood by his comments on bathroom functionality and slammed people for being too easily offended:
You frauds out there ranting and screaming about my ‘opinions’ (even if it isn’t) and comments are screaming for “tolerance” and “acceptance” while you refuse to do and be either.
YOU’RE the ones making it the issue. I don’t care, if you ask me about any of the topics it’s likely (much to the chagrin of many) I’ll answer with my opinion.
There are things I have deeply held beliefs in, things I have that are core to who I am, things I am passionate about. If you ask me about them it’s likely I’ll give you a passionate answer, whether you like that answer or not is completely up to you. I am not going to give you answers to make sure you like what I say, let the rest of the insecure world do that.
It’s sad what’s happened to this country in the name of “love” and “acceptance.” People are way too quick to be offended and way too quick to call a person who holds traditional world views “a narrow minded, judgmental, unloving, racist bigot who needs to DIE!!!” Maybe we need to slow down and really examine all the radical cultural changes that are being rammed down our throats. Maybe that’s the true way to love and acceptance.

What do YOU think – did Curt Schilling go too far in reposting and commenting on this transgender meme?
