During the 2016, election, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was no fan of Donald J. Trump, vocally opposing his candidacy.
In fact, Rice’s criticism of then-candidate Trump got so intense that she publicly called on him to drop out of the race just weeks before election day.
Well, it seems as though after meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office, Ms. Rice is singing a different tune, praising the president, noting that she “found him asking really good questions.”
Ms. Rice was also extremely laudatory of President Trump’s national security team, calling it an outstanding team:

Rice, like President Trump, believes that the North Korean crisis is the biggest threat facing America. The former Bush cabinet member admitted that “North Korea keeps me up at night. Well, it doesn’t keep me up at night anymore but if you were in those positions, it would keep you up at night. Because the North Koreans have made a lot of progress in their programs.”
While Rice did praise the president, she said she believes Trump’s call to meet with the leader of North Korea was an “overstatement” because “The fact of the mater is he’s not going to meet with the North Korean leader unless conditions are right.”
In another interview, Rice also defended the President’s missile strikes against Syria, arguing “Credibility is not divisible. When you are not credible about Syria, you’re not credible about North Korea. When you are credible about Syria, by having made that strike…it got the Chinese’s attention.”
President Trump was very vocal in his criticism of Ms. Rice’s boss, George W. Bush, so her past comments attacking the president may have been out of loyalty. Regardless, it appears as though Ms. Rice has had an important change of heart, and realizes that the president knows what he is doing, and is a strong leader.
It kind of makes you wonder how many “never Trump” people really don’t know anything about the President they claim to oppose, doesn’t it?
