Ben Affleck Apologizes For Groping Actress When She Was a ‘Kid’

What is it with the men surrounding former Democrat nominee for president, Hillary Clinton. They can’t seem to keep their unwanted hands off of other women. For a party that routinely accuses the opposite side of conducting a War on Women, they sure like to engage in some pretty shady behavior.

Anthony Weiner’s problems have been well chronicled. As have Hillary’s husband, Bill Clinton. Now, Harvey Weinstein is being exposed as a serial sexual harasser, if not an outright rapist.

Somehow, some way, Clinton supporter and fundraiser, Hollywood actor, Ben Affleck, has also found his way into the controversy.

Affleck issued a statement as the Weinstein story was being revealed, saying he was “saddened and angry that a man who (he) worked with used his position of power to intimidate, sexually harass and manipulate many women.”

Perhaps it would have been best if he didn’t wade into the controversy at all.

Writer Shanice Brim pointed out that Affleck once upon a time grabbed actress Hilarie Burton’s breast during a TRL interview in 2003.

Burton said she remembered the encounter and that she “was a kid” at the time.

Affleck responded on social media, essentially admitting to the act and apologizing for acting “inappropriately toward Ms. Burton.”

Video of the alleged incident has circulated on social media, but does not offer definitive evidence of the act. Neither party involved is denying that it happened, however.

Burton also shared a promotional video in which she jokingly recalls the incident with Affleck, saying “he comes over and tweaks my left boob.”

Later on in the clip, Affleck is shown asking Burton, “How old are you, 19?”

Just way too classy. Remember, this is the same side of the political aisle as people who gave Clinton a pass for his reprehensible behavior, but found Mitt Romney’s ‘binders full of women’ comment to be horrific.

Affleck was so close to the Clinton family, not only did he serve as a max donor to Hillary’s campaign, but he also had access to her private e-mail address – something Ambassador Chris Stevens, killed in Benghazi under her command at the State Department, didn’t even have.
