Goldberg Censored On ‘The View’
Cassidy Hutchinson, a former staffer in Donald Trump’s White House, went on “The View” yesterday to promote her new book “Enough.” She is known for being one of the few former Trump officials to testify against him during the January 6 hearings.
During her time working in Trump’s White House, Hutchinson became close with Alyssa Farah Griffin, who is currently a co-host on “The View.”
“You chose to speak out at risk of your career, your community, even your life,” Griffin said. “Something that has struck me in the post-Trump era — may that be here soon — is it’s women that are speaking out, whether it’s Liz Cheney, whether it was you, Sarah Matthews is in our audience — also testified before Congress against Donald Trump.”
Griffin then asked Hutchinson why she thinks “so many men” have refused to step up, at which time Goldberg muttered, “no balls” under a cough. She was immediately censored by producers, who cut her audio for several seconds. When the audio was finally returned, Goldberg covered her mouth and apologized.

Segment Continues
The segment then continued on, with Hutchinson answering Griffin’s question.
“I can’t speak to the psyche of the men who have either willingly defied their own subpoenas or have had convenient lapses of memory throughout this process but it does seem to me that the women are willing to step forward,” Hutchinson said. “And the women are the people that are willing to say, ‘Enough.’ We have to at some point say, ‘Enough is enough.’”
Joy Behar chimed in to say that men haven’t been testifying because they are “so scared to lose their jobs.”
“Men have been running America since our founding and it’s not going that well,” Hutchinson declared. “We also need to have collective conversations as a nation to elect responsible people to office — to elect more women to office.”

Goldberg In Hot Water With ABC
Goldberg has been on thin ice with ABC for quite some time. Last year, she was suspended from “The View” for two weeks after saying that “the Holocaust isn’t about race” on an episode of the ABC talk show.
Though she issued a groveling apology after making those comments, she proceeded to double down on them in a December interview.
“My best friend said, ‘Not for nothing is there no box on the census for the Jewish race.’ So that leads me to believe that we’re probably not a race,” Goldberg told The Times of London back in December.
“It wasn’t originally” about race, she continued, according to NBC News. “Remember who they were killing first. They were not killing racial; they were killing physical. They were killing people they considered to be mentally defective. And then they made this decision.”

Though Goldberg apologized again after this slip up, many feel that this apology is not enough, and ABC executives have been under constant pressure to fire her ever since. Her latest slip-up may be seen as a small one by some, but it will certainly do nothing to endear her to the higher-ups at ABC.
