White House Doctor Announces Trump Has Tested Negative For COVID-19

On Monday, White House doctor Sean Conley announced that President Donald Trump is now testing negative for COVID-19.

Dr. Conley said the President was tested using the Abbott BinaxNOW antigen card, with results coming back negative consecutive days.

White House Doctor Sean Conley: ‘The President Is Not Infectious To Others’

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany took to social media to share Conley’s statement on Trump’s health.

“In response to your inquiry regarding the President’s most recent COVID-19 tests, I can share with you that he has tested NEGATIVE, on consecutive days, using the Abbott BinaxNOW antigen card,” Dr. Sean Conley said in his statement.

“It is important to note that this test was not used in isolation for the determination of the President’s current negative status,” Conley wrote.

“Repeatedly negative antigen tests, taken in context with additional clinical and laboratory data, including viral load, subgenomic RNA, and PCR cycle threshold measurements, as well as ongoing assessment of viral culture data, all indicate a lack of detectable viral replication,” the statement continued.

Conley added, “This comprehensive data, in concert with the CDC’s guidelines for removal of transmission-based precautions, have informed our medical team’s assessment that the President is not infectious to others.”

How Will President Trump Being COVID-Free Affect The Remaining Debates?

The statement from Conley comes in the wake of the Commission on Presidential Debates canceling a presidential debate that was supposed to take place Thursday night.

The Trump campaign said in a statement last week, “There is no medical reason to stop the October 15 debate in Miami from proceeding as scheduled, since the President will be healthy and ready to debate.”

“There is also no reason there shouldn’t be the three total presidential debates as Joe Biden had originally agreed,” Team Trump insisted. “We have suggested using October 22 and October 29 to hold the final two debates.”

“It’s time for the biased commission to stop protecting Biden and preventing voters from hearing from the two candidates for president,” the statement continued.

“There’s nothing that says that President Trump and Joe Biden can’t debate together without the overlords at the commission having a say in the matter.”

“We would be glad to debate one-on-one without the commission’s interference,” Team Trump concluded.

What Will Trump Critics Say Now Of COVID-Free Trump?

Now that the White House’s official doctor has determined that President Trump  is not in danger of infecting others with the coronavirus – after he has had it – what can we expect from his leftwing critics?

Democrats had a collective freakout when Trump removed his mask on the White House balcony after returning from Walter Reed hospital, despite the President not being physically close to others.

Liberals continue to pile on Trump as the campaign enters the home stretch and the President is still drawing large crowds at his campaign rallies.

Trump drew a sizable crowd in Sanford, Florida, on Monday.

Team Trump plans to campaign in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, Iowa on Wednesday, and North Carolina on Thursday.

The Republican presidential nominee will no doubt continue to draw the kind of crowds the Democratic nominee can’t inspire.

Expect Democrats to criticize Trump for this even though he no longer has, nor can transmit, coronavirus.

But the science probably won’t stop Democrats from trying anyway.
