Conservative new outlet American Greatness has obtained an exclusive video that shows United States Capitol Police officers speaking with several January 6 protesters inside the Capitol Building.
One of those protesters is Jacob Chansley who went viral as many referred to him as the so-called “Q shaman.”
The video appears to show Capitol Police inside the building allowing and approving peaceful protest.
Videos of the event, including this one and the security footage from the Capitol Building, will play a large part in the prosecutions of those arrested for the event.
They will also likely be a major focus of the upcoming “9/11-style” commission Congress is creating to investigate the Capitol riot.

Did Police Approve Protest Inside Building?
One officer seen in the video, identified as Officer Keith Robishaw, looks like he is telling Chansely’s group that they can remain in the building so long as they remain peaceful.
“We’re not against… you need to show us… no attacking, no assault, remain calm,” Robishaw is shown saying.
Chansley joined a protester in appearing to tell the the crowd to behave peacefully.
“This has to be peaceful,” Chansley is seen saying. “We have the right to peacefully assemble.”
American Greatness’s Julie Kelly observed, “This video directly contradicts what government prosecutors allege in a complaint filed January 8 against Chansley.”
Video Reveals New Details About January 6
The prosecution’s version of events claims that Police ordered the protesters to leave.
“Robishaw and other officers calmed the protesters somewhat and directed them to leave the area from the same way they had entered,” read the complaint.
“Chansley approached Officer Robishaw and screamed, among other things, that this was their house, and that they were there to take the Capitol, and to get Congressional leaders.”
American Greatness notes, “Chansley later is seen entering the Senate chambers with a police officer behind him; he led several protesters in prayer and sat in Vice President Mike Pence’s chair.”

This Video Reportedly Just A Short Clip Of A Longer Version
American Greatness noted that, “Chansley is not charged with assaulting an officer; he faces several counts for trespassing and disorderly conduct.”
Chansley “has been incarcerated since January, denied bail awaiting trial.”
“He has no criminal record,” the outlet added.
The outlet also noted, “American Greatness obtained the video from RMG News. The 44-second clip is reportedly part of a much longer video that has yet to be released.”
It is possible the longer version of the video shows what the prosecution alleges, that protesters were ordered to leave the building.
Fact checkers have claimed there’s “no evidence” that Capitol Police let anyone in to the building, and that online video of the events on January 6 “have been misinterpreted.”
The “9/11-style commission” would reportedly have 10 members – five Republicans and five Democrats – legislation to create the commission could be voted on this week.
