President Trump Announces ‘Made in America’ and Other Pro-America Themes Weeks

How long before the media tries to paint this idea as being a dog whistle to racists?

President Trump’s White House has announced three America-themed weeks that will focus on promoting American jobs and products.

The three themes will be ‘Made in America,’ ‘American Heroes’ and ‘American Dreams,’ and demonstrate that the President will continue with his ‘America first’ commitment to restoring our nation’s exceptional status in the world.

Via the Washington Examiner:

The White House is launching a three-week campaign to shine a light on President Trump’s agenda, kicking off a “Made in America” policy-themed week Monday.

The White House told reporters Sunday the latest theme week will focus on promoting locally made products and center around the benefits of American manufacturing.

… Following the “Made in America” campaign, the White House is launching “American Heroes” week and “American Dream” week.

The President will kick off a full week of action by hosting a product showcase designed to highlight American-made products from all 50 states on Monday.

He’ll follow that up on Wednesday with a proclamation emphasizing the importance of making products in the America.

Then Trump will attend the commissioning of the USS Gerald R. Ford, the first of a new generation of aircraft carriers, in Newport News, Virginia.

Trump has long been touting the America first strategy, criticizing American businesses for shipping jobs overseas, while not selling American-made products, very early on in his campaign.

His strong convictions on the matter and the pressure he placed on companies to adopt a pro-America stance led to major changes at Marriott hotels and Apple – even BEFORE he took office!

Finally a president who believes in American exceptionalism. As opposed to, you know … this guy.

President Trump is concentrating on America and Americans’ well-being – almost as if that is his job. That’s quite a change from the last president.

  1. When will Trump products be made in America?
You don’t find “Made in America” on the labels of Trump products.
Heck, when will Trump stop supporting communist Russia ahead of our free market allies?

    1. You must be a complete idiot because all of your comments are totally ignorant!! Russia is no longer a communist country & Putin has more respect from Russian citizens for what he’s accomplished there. You need to educate yourself instead of making stupid comments all the time. Putin is also working directly with an Alliance to fight the globalist’s (NWO) who rule most of the world & especially our government. Trump & Putin are NOT part of the NWO & that’s why they hate him. Maybe you wanted people like Hillary to be President so they could continue trying to depopulate & poison us as she is part of the NWO as was Obama & the Bush’s. Wake up PoppDavid!!

  2. You know, it took a long time for American companies to move out and products to be made primarily in Asia and Mexico. Things don’t happen overnight even with good intentions. A majority of these imported goods are being manufactured practically by slave labor. These foreign governments also subsidize these products so that American companies have an impossible time to compete. Trump will bring many of the American owned companies back home with slashing the corporate tax and getting rid of draconian regulations. I believe he will also slap tariffs on products that are being subsidized by foreign governments. These moves will start the engine of production once again in the US. After that the sky is the limit.

  3. Manufacturing stopped in America many years ago because big business was forced into sourcing in different countries because it was being over regulated. Now trump is trying to bring it back by lowering the tax rate for companies and cutting all the BS red tape and the Libs don’t like it because they want to run the country their way so they can line their pockets. Keep doing what you are doing Mr. Trump because eventually the Libs will have to shut up because the American people will be the winners and the winners are the voters. Get used to it Libs. You are cooked meat!

  4. LOVE TO BUY US Made – – I don’t buy “American made” because that includes Canada, Mexico, Central American countries and ALL of SOUTH America…I WANT USA MADE stamped on what I buy and it is extremely difficult to find unless one doesn’t care how much they have to pay…I have a budget and a very SMALL income…Small businesses need to get started to supply locally…

  5. I have tried to do this for years. Unfortunately a great many needful things are made in the far east.
Suits, ties, Vietnam and Sri Lanka, forget appliance, major and minor. kitchen ware, france, germany, sheets and towels, egypt, malta, france. Glass ware, poland, flat ware, france, picnic baskets from GB and every thing else from china. From chamois to squeegees and cookie sheets, spatulas, to go coffee mugs, shoes, shirts, men and women’s underwear, everything!
Good intentions have no impact if everyone chooses to go to china to shop. try finding an american made stereo or a television. look for a blender or a toaster? Even williams sonoma has no American made necessities. Even our so called ‘American’ cars are made in pieces. those pieces come from australia, japan, mexico. canada and elsewhere.
All this I blame on our government.

  6. We have to start some place, right? It is so refreshing to have a President who actually cares more for America than “globalist Obama” and “crooked Hillary.” GO AMERICA!

  7. Problem is, finding “American Made” products. Walmart was built on the theme of “Made in America.” However, it is difficult to find ANYTHING there, now, that is made here. I ran into a lady, last year in Walmart, doing her Christmas shopping. Her family had pledged to buy only American made. (Which is an awesome idea) She talked about what a difficult time she was having.
