Despite criticism from the left about his delivery, President Trump has achieved a diplomatic victory in the form of peace talks between North and South Korea.
North Korea has accepted South Korea’s proposal to engage in peace talks, the first such communication between the two countries in two years.
Talks between the Koreas will be held on January 9th in what is known as the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) separating their countries.

The announcement comes just days after President Trump oh-so-subtly reminded North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un that he has a ‘nuclear button’ on his desk that actually works.
North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the “Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.” Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!

Democrats pounced on the President’s message, saying it was unprofessional and needlessly provocative.
Sen. Edward J. Markey (D-MA) called the statement bordering on “presidential malpractice,” adding that “a nuclear conflict on the Korean Peninsula would be a catastrophe.”
Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said, “Where we have serious issues to address abroad, President Trump seems happy with macho boasts and belligerent threats that get us nowhere.”
Au contraire, mon frère … the threats do seem to be getting us somewhere, namely to the table to discuss peace, something each party can agree is in the best interest of the world.

So why is it working? Because the world sees an American leader who will no longer bow down sheepishly to the whim of lunatics like Kim Jong Un.
“This is a president who is not going cower down and is not going to be weak and is going to make sure he does what he’s promised to do, and that’s stand up and protect the American people,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders stated.
Weird, I wonder what prompted that??? https://t.co/3NzvC5eFDO

Vice President Mike Pence agreed, saying “President Trump made it clear, America will not be bullied. America will not be threatened.”
And the President himself most certainly agrees as well …
With all of the failed “experts” weighing in, does anybody really believe that talks and dialogue would be going on between North and South Korea right now if I wasn’t firm, strong and willing to commit our total “might” against the North. Fools, but talks are a good thing!
