A pro-Trump, anti-illegal immigration screed has landed a Florida teacher in hot water after intolerant liberals took offense to her views.
An Elementary School teacher in Collier County, Veronica Fleming, posted a link to an article about the so-called “Day Without Immigrants” protest last week, and added her own commentary about illegals.
“The funny part about immigrants staying home is the rest of us who pay for them are here at work like we’ve always been,” she wrote, perhaps forgetting the word ‘illegal’ as so many of our friends on the left tend to do.
She then thanked President Trump adding, “So glad to hear about massive deportation.”
While the facts were fairly loose with Fleming’s comments, her right to speak freely is not. Liberals however, disagree, complaining about the teacher’s comments to the point where she’s now lost her job.
They call it ‘reassignment.’ Essentially she got deported to a new position.

Parkside Elementary School computer lab instructor Veronica Fleming linked to a Chicago Tribune story about the nationwide protest and offered her take on the situation.
“The funny part about immigrants staying home is the rest of us who pay for them are here at work like we’ve always been. Looks like less mouths to feed today. Have fun while you still can. So glad to hear about massive deportation. Let’s make America great again. Thanks Donald Trump!”
Collier County Public Schools spokesman Greg Turchetta told the Naples Daily News Fleming’s post didn’t sit well with parents of students at Parkside Elementary, 96 percent of which are minorities.
One immigrant mother said she was “offended” by the post.
“I couldn’t even believe it,” she said. “How could a teacher speak like that?”
Another suggested “I would consider it (the post) really to be racist.”
Fleming’s fatal flaws were two-fold, not referring to ‘illegal immigrants’ and apparently having made her post during school hours.
