Newly minted White House Communications Director, Anthony Scaramucci, just laid down the gauntlet to those releasing a torrent of leaks out of the Trump Administration.

During an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Scaramucci said he would hold a meeting with his communications staff and let them know “hey, I don’t like these leaks.”

“We’re going to stop the leaks,” he warned, “and if we don’t stop the leaks, I’m going to stop you. It’s just really that simple.”

Scaramucci also told Tapper that he would tell his staff that their actions in leaking information to the press are “un-American.”

Via the Telegraph:

President Donald Trump’s new communications director vowed to crack down on leaks and said members of his staff doing so would be fired.

Anthony Scaramucci said leaks were “un-American” and he would tell his team so at a meeting on Monday.

He said: “If we don’t get the leaks stopped, I am a businessperson, and so I will take dramatic action to stop those leaks. I am going to tell them to stop the leaks, if we don’t stop the leaks I’m going to stop you.”

Scaramucci echoed those statements in an interview with Fox News’ Chris Wallace, saying he would “take dramatic action to stop those leaks.”

President Trump has long railed against the leaks coming out of his office, calling them ‘criminal acts.’

He tweeted his latest disdain for those acts this past weekend.

Scaramucci said, “The president doesn’t like the fact that he has a two-minute conversation in the Oval Office or in his study and that people are running out and leaking.”

Why should he? It’s high time somebody came on board and cleared house of those leaking information out to the anti-Trump media. There have been too many Obama-era holdovers or ‘Never Trumpers’ allowing this to go on.
