Sarah Palin believes the events surrounding President Trump’s alleged affair with Stormy Daniels are far less egregious than some of the things Bill Clinton once did while in office.
She downplayed the significance of the Stormy story, alleging to a group of super PAC donors that “the real threat isn’t if a private citizen messed around, had an affair or whatever with a consenting grown-up years and years ago.”
And for those suggesting that Trump’s actions are similar to those of Clinton, she disagrees.
“You know, we’ve had men in office – literally in the office! – do much worse,” Palin said, taking a shot at Clinton’s sexual misconduct in the oval office with his intern Monica Lewinsky.
In the weirdest moment of last night’s @SarahPalinUSA speech in Washington, Palin dismissed the @StormyDaniels saga as a Democrat-driven distraction about “an affair or whatever” between two consenting adults — and then said Bill Clinton was far worse. https://t.co/HP8PscApHu

To be clear, Palin isn’t condoning the actions of either man having extramarital affairs.
“I don’t excuse any of that,” she said. “I’m just saying – repeating what some neanderthals still say: ‘Oh, boys will be boys.'”
Palin is dead right, however, as the comparison between Trump/Stormy is apples to oranges with Clinton/Lewinsky.
Clinton took advantage of a young, impressionable intern who worked for him, did these things in the White House, placed himself in the path of potential blackmail when it got out to the public, and then lied to a grand jury about it, leading to his impeachment.
Somebody’s gotta say it!

Not to mention, she could have reminded those in the crowd of the far worse allegations that hovered around Clinton for many years.
I was 35 years old when Bill Clinton, Ark. Attorney General raped me and Hillary tried to silence me. I am now 73….it never goes away.

Juanita Broaddrick, a former nursing home employee, accused Clinton of raping her decades earlier when he was a gubernatorial candidate in Arkansas.
Of the media and Democrats, Palin explained that the Stormy Daniels story is nothing more than a distraction.
“Their tactic is to divide us,” she said, “and to divide, they distract.”
