CNN political commentator, S.E. Cupp, a conservative but by no means a supporter of President Trump, slammed Michelle Obama for her recent comments that any “woman who voted against Hillary Clinton voted against their own voice.”
Obama would also add that those who did cast their vote for Trump only did so because “you like the thing you’re told to like.”
Cupp dove into commentary on the matter during her HLN show, labeling the former First Lady’s statements “condescending gender imperialism.”
“With all due respect to Mrs. Obama, that’s disgusting,” she said.
Cupp claimed Obama was doing what most Democrats do to women who couldn’t support Hillary Clinton, suggesting they were “obligated to vote for your corrupt, dishonest, morally-bereft, out of touch, and totally unaccountable candidate, who also just happens to be a woman.”

Cupp herself has had a contentious relationship with the president, admitting she did not vote for or support him.
In December of 2015, Trump tweeted that she was “one of the dumber pundits on T.V.” and “a totally biased loser who doesn’t have a clue.”
.@secupp, who can’t believe that her candidate has bombed so badly, is one of the dumber pundits on T.V. Hard to watch, zero talent! @CNN

Why does @CNN bore their audience with people like @secupp, a totally biased loser who doesn’t have a clue. I hear she will soon be gone!

Well, she’s certainly not gone and does have a clue, trouncing Michelle Obama and defending those who voted for the president.
What Michelle doesn’t get is we “Women” did not want a continuation of her husband’s policies, we wanted to MAGA!

That’s where the Democrats screwed up. It’s so shallow to assume that you could trot a woman out there, and women would blindly vote for her

“I didn’t vote for Trump, but how dare you accuse women who did of liking the thing they’re told to like,” Cupp added. “There were countless good reasons not to vote for Hillary Clinton.”
“You know what,” she added, “plenty of Democrats agreed.”
