Having exhausted all other celebrity voices in America apparently, the mainstream media is pivoting back to one of President Trump’s old nemeses – Rosie O’Donnell.
O’Donnell is leveraging a personal feud with the President, which involved a verbal beatdown so severe that her career and mental acuity have been spiraling out of control ever since, and turning it into activism. (RELATED: Rosie O’Donnell, Hollywood Director Danny Zuker Mock Barron Trump).
Rosie, you see, doesn’t believe Donald is a “legitimate President,” citing alleged interference by Russia in the 2016 presidential election.
“He should not be president,” she told MSNBC’s, Ari Melber. “I don’t believe he’s a legitimate president. I believe if it wasn’t for Russia he never would have won.”
How does she plan on combatting this ‘illegitimate’ President? Why … a sing-along, of course!
O’Donnell led a group of Broadway performers in a musical protest of the President on Monday night in front of the White House, a gathering that has been taking place for just over three weeks now.
The group sang “America the Beautiful” – seemingly unaware of the irony that it was America the beautiful that democratically voted President Trump into the White House – as well as a host of other show-tune favorites.
“Let the president know in no uncertain terms that we are alive, awake and we are woke,” O’Donnell told the crowd. They then immediately put everybody back to sleep with their uninspired singing and lone hippie drumbeat in accompaniment.

“I believe he should be impeached,” O’Donnell said in a later interview, doing her best Maxine Waters impersonation. “I’m sickened by Congress that doesn’t call for articles of impeachment when we have so much evidence of his horrible high crimes and misdemeanors.”
Chalk up the phrase “high crimes and misdemeanors” as yet another that the comedienne clearly can’t define or grasp.
She also claimed – no seriously, she said this – that the media has been a little soft on Trump and unwilling to call him a liar, something they’ve actually been doing since the very day he announced he was running for President.
“I believe that firmly and I think a lot of people do. I think the media is a little bit slow in coming around to where the people actually are,” O’Donnell claimed. “It took you a long time to call him a liar, and the man’s been lying a long time since in office.”

In another interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo, O’Donnell laid out a grand conspiracy theory in which President Trump is only able to attract such large crowds because he pays them to be there.
“People are paid, Chris,” she asserted. “We know that. People were paid since he went down on the escalator. He pays people to show up at those rallies.”
Cuomo, who has been battling little-brother syndrome his entire life due to the much more successful governor of New York, shockingly didn’t bother to call her out for making such a ridiculous claim. Rather, he essentially said Trump can’t be paying everyone.
“But I don’t know that that’s why he gets tens of thousands at the rallies,” Cuomo responded. “I think he captures a lot of emotion for people.”
When she made the claim again and asked Cuomo if he believed the supporters at Trump rallies are paid, he responded: “I don’t know, I don’t have the facts that his crowds are bought off.”
“I don’t have that,” Cuomo repeated. “I’m not going to say, ‘they’re all bought off, they’re all fake,’ because I think that’s b.s., I don’t think it’s true. I’m not going to play to it just because it’s satisfying.”
Yet, he’s willing to entertain the thought that maybe some of them are.

As for Rosie’s rally? It was, as you’d imagine, a big-time bust. First off, the President was nowhere near the sing-along as he is vacationing at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club.
And the crowd? Let’s just say, Rosie should perhaps consider paying some people to attend.
The event drew in a marginally sized crowd which, in a couple of short hours, shrunk down to just a few dozen people.
At least O’Donnell didn’t crack jokes about the President’s son, Barron Trump. This time anyway.
Much of her current mindstate is the result of a verbal lashing she’s taken over the years from President Trump, dating back to when he called her “a real loser” who looked forward to “taking lots of money from my nice fat little Rosie.” (RELATED: Rosie O’Donnell: ‘I Seriously Worry Whether I Will Be Able to Live Through His Presidency’).
He would later pay her this super-sincere compliment …
Rosie is crude, rude, obnoxious and dumb – other than that I like her very much!

Some things never change. Now that O’Donnell is leading sing-alongs and pushing conspiracy theories, it’s clear she’s still crude, rude, obnoxious, and dumb.
