Roger Stone Slams Mueller as ‘Hitman for the Establishment’

Roger Stone interview

During an exclusive interview with The Political Insider, former Trump campaign advisor and long-time Republican operative Roger Stone slammed the man behind what the President refers to as a “rigged witch hunt,” Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

After running off a litany of examples showing Mueller’s ineptitude fully displayed on the public record, Stone blasted the man desperately seeking to find collusion between the President and Russia as a “hitman for the establishment.”

Interviewer James asked Stone to comment on the liberal media claim that Mueller is “a straight shooter” while Republicans praise him as “a good guy” who “has no vendetta.”

“That ignores his public record,” Stone responded before listing examples of his corruption.

“This is the Boy Scout, this is the white knight?” he facetiously added. “He is a hitman for the establishment … the frame is his specialty.”

There’s quite a bit to unfold there in Stone’s thorough takedown of Mueller.

First, the anthrax case was something that Real Clear Politics explains was thoroughly bungled by former FBI Director James Comey and Mueller.

“They botched the investigation of the 2001 anthrax letter attacks,” they reported, “and eventually, when the facts finally came out, made the FBI look feckless, incompetent, and easily manipulated by outside political pressure.”

“He arrested the wrong free man in the anthrax investigation,” Stone explains. “The guy he finally did arrest died mysteriously of an aspirin overdose in the hospital.”

No formal charges were ever actually filed against Bruce Edwards Ivins, the man Stone is referencing, for the crime, and no direct evidence of his involvement has been uncovered.

Mueller has also been linked to a case in which the FBI framed four innocent men for a murder they didn’t commit.

“He let (them) rot in a Boston jail for a murder he know they didn’t commit … to cover up for FBI mob informants,” Stone claimed.

The former presidential adviser also made mention of a case in which Mueller failed to investigate a Sarasota flight school in which Saudis with apparent ties to the 9/11 hijackers had trained, then tried to cover it up.

Why is Mueller given pass after pass by establishment lawmakers when he has these very serious blemishes on his resume?

“I have no doubts about his partisanship,” Stone added. “How many Republicans has he hired for his investigation?”

“That would be none.”

Roger Stone’s interview with The Political Insider has revealed many things, but perhaps none more important than the fact that Mueller is a partisan hack who has actually been caught in deceptive practices and witch hunts throughout his career and shouldn’t have been put in charge of this charade. Given the mounting attacks leveraged against him by the left, Stone has been forced to set up a legal defense fund to cover his legal expenses.

Stone is, himself, within the sights of the Special Counsel investigation.
