Report: Liz Cheney Slapped Jim Jordan’s Hand During January 6th Protest – ‘You F****** Did This’

Representative Liz Cheney, according to a new book, blamed Representative Jim Jordan for the events of January 6th, even physically slapping his hand away when he offered help.

Cheney (R-WY), according to excerpts from the upcoming book “I Alone Can Fix It,” by Washington Post reporters Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker, referred to Jordan as a “son of a bitch.”

The story was relayed allegedly in a conversation between Cheney and General Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The book also reveals concerning rants from Milley.

“That f***ing guy Jim Jordan. That son of a bitch,” she purportedly ranted to Milley. 

“While these maniacs are going through the place, I’m standing in the aisle and he said, ‘We need to get the ladies away from the aisle. Let me help you,'” she claimed Jordan (R-OH) said.

“I smacked his hand away and told him, ‘Get away from me. You f***ing did this,'” Cheney continued.

Liz Cheney Slaps Jim Jordan And Blames Him For Capitol Protest

It comes as little surprise that Liz Cheney may have had a veritable nervous breakdown on Jim Jordan as protesters swelled that day inside the Capitol.

Cheney has become known for her overly-dramatic response to the one-time incident at the Capitol, frequently siding with Democrats in their hyperbole involving the events that day.

She has accused Trump voters of believing “the big lie” –  an actual Democrat talking point – that the 2020 presidential election was stolen and vowed to campaign on impeaching him “every day of the week.”

In an op-ed for the Washington Post last week, Cheney encouraged Republicans not to embrace Trump’s “cult of personality.”

And the Political Insider previously reported on Cheney dipping into QDNC-level conspiracy theories that Trump would “unravel the democracy to come back into power.”

Her latest comments leave her roughly one step away from going AOC on Jordan and accusing him of attempted murder.

Cheney Wants Criminal Investigation

Cheney and Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) were the only Republicans who voted to create a select committee to probe the January 6 Capitol protest.

Cheney is the only member of the GOP to be added to that select committee, having been chosen by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The Wyoming Republican celebrated her addition to the panel.

“Congress is obligated to conduct a full investigation of the most serious attack on our Capitol since 1814,” she said.

“That day saw the most sacred space in our Republic overrun by an angry and violent mob attempting to stop the counting of electoral votes and threatening the peaceful transfer of power.”

Cheney has said she supports a criminal investigation into the former President for his alleged role in telling the protesters to make their voices heard “peacefully and patriotically.”

“I think the American people have to know (what happened on January 6th),” she insisted in an interview with Savannah Guthrie on NBC’s Today Show in May.

“And certainly any president who did what we know this former president did has got to be investigated criminally.”
