Report: FEC Data Show Twitter Employees Made 99 Percent Of Political Donations Online To Democrats

According to Federal Election Commission data, a whopping 99 percent of online political contributions made by Twitter employees in 2021 went to Democrats.

The New York Post reported, “Twitter workers made 561 contributions through Actblue, the Democratic Party-linked payments processor, vs. just eight through its Republican counterpart, WinRed.”

Dan Gainor of the Media Research Center, the non-profit conservative watchdog group, told the Post, “The one percent shocks. They have somebody who actually gave to the GOP. I’m stunned.”

“Their day to day actions also contribute to that political party,” Gainor said of Twitter staffers, who have been accused of censoring conservative commentary. “There was a time when you could give to one political party and still be fairhanded, but that time is long past.”

The Daily Wire observed, “Ned Segal, Twitter’s Chief Financial Officer, donated $5,800, the legal maximum donation an individual can give, to Democratic Pennsylvania Congressman Conor Lamb.”

“Seksom Suriyapa also donated the legal maximum to Democrat California Representative Ro Khanna,” the Wire continued.

“Evan Stern, one of the company’s in-house attorneys, donated $2,900 to Democratic Arizona Senator Mark Kelly and Democratic Georgia Senator Raphael Warnock, both of whom are running for re-election to a full term in the U.S. Senate in the 2022 midterms.”

“Stern also gave $2,900 to Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman, who is running to replace retiring Republican Senator Pat Toomey in 2022,” the Wire noted, adding, “The largest donation of that one percent — just $250 — was given by former Twitter Vice President of Finance Rich Sullivan to Adam Kinzinger, the Republican congressman from Illinois who was one of 10 Republican Congresspeople to vote to impeach former President Donald Trump in January, and currently serves on the Committee investigating the events of January 6.”

Perhaps readers, having seen Twitter’s behavior over the last several years – whether it’s permanently banning a sitting United States President like Donald Trump (while allowing the Iranian Ayatollah to remain on the platform) or censoring negative news about Hunter Biden – won’t be surprised.
