A group of progressive activists followed Senator Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) into a bathroom and then recorded her as they stood outside her stall protesting immigration reform and her opposition to Democrats’ economic agenda.
The scene unfolded in a bathroom at Arizona State University on Saturday.
The harassing party included a far-left group called Living United For Change in Arizona (LUCHA). They inexplicably uploaded videos of the incident to social media, somehow thinking it made them look good.
“We knocked on doors for you to get you elected, and just like how we got you elected, we can get you out of office if you don’t support what you promised us,” one activist warns as Sinema closes the stall door.
Other grievances appear to involve immigration reform, with one activist seeming to indicate she is a so-called DREAMer, lamenting she can not travel to Mexico and return because there is “no pathway to citizenship.”
There is, of course, a pathway to citizenship. Immigrants are naturalized as Americans quite often in the United States because they followed that pathway.

Stalking Kyrtsen Sinema In The Bathroom
According to Yahoo News, members of LUCHA also protested Kyrsten Sinema away from the bathroom – in fact, at a public fundraiser in Phoenix – urging her to “Build Back Better, back the bill.”
The demand is a reference to the Senator’s opposition to the Democrats’ $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill.
According to Arizona State, Sinema became an adjunct professor there in 2003.
In our current political climate in America, she is now reduced from being a respected professor at a decent University to having to run and hide in bathroom stalls because students are out of control.
The activists followed Sinema from her classroom to the bathroom, with the video showing she never responded to their comments or demands even as she was washing her hands.
We wouldn’t have to resort to confronting @senatorsinema around Phx if she took meetings with the communities that elected her. She’s been completely inaccessible. We’re sick of the political games, stop playing with our lives.

Sinema Is A Moderate Democrat – And Democrats Hate Moderation
Sinema, just last month, much to the chagrin of her colleagues, announced she could not back the massive $3.5 trillion party-line spending bill.
“Proceedings in the U.S. House will have no impact on Kyrsten’s views about what is best for our country – including the fact that she will not support a budget reconciliation bill that costs $3.5 trillion,” a spokesperson said at the time.
She slammed leaders in her own party this past weekend over their “inexcusable” failure to hold a vote on the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure plan.
Video of the bathroom incident involving Kyrsten Sinema prompted Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) to suggest the illegal immigrant involved in the harassment should be “deported.”

Believe it or not, the person in the country illegally may have committed a crime by recording the Senator in the bathroom.
According to the Arizona State Legislature website, “It is unlawful for any person to knowingly photograph, videotape, film, digitally record or by any other means secretly view, with or without a device, another person without that person’s consent … in a restroom, bathroom …”
This is sick and getting dangerous. You need to stop.

Last week, the Arizona State Democratic Party passed a resolution criticizing Sinema for her defense of the filibuster and her opposition to the Democrats’ reconciliation bill.
They warned that if she doesn’t capitulate to the demands of the spending bill, they will “go officially on record” and “give Senator Sinema a vote of NO CONFIDENCE.”
State Senator Martin Quezada (D) said Sinema could have avoided being harassed in a bathroom if she was “available to meet and hear [constituents] out on the issues they are passionate about using normal channels.”
Illegal immigrants are not constituents, Senator Quezada.
