Billboard Warns Liberals ‘Better Get Your Guns’ If You Try to Impeach Trump

A billboard cropped up in Maryland recently warning liberals that if they try to impeach President Trump, they’re going to need some of those guns they’ve been trying to ban.

“Hey liberals,” the controversial billboard reads, “better get your guns if you try to impeach President Trump.”

The message is signed, “From all of your Deplorables in Calvert County.”

The sign lasted a few weeks on the property of a local man, but it wasn’t long before people on both sides of the political aisle took offense to the call to arms.

One self-identified Republican in the county told CBS 21, “I’m a Republican but I think it’s a little offensive.”

She added, “I think you can persuade people on the topics and not insult them.”

Oh, I don’t know, liberals seem to only understand the language of insults, having called conservatives everything under the sun from racists, to misogynists, to Islamophobes for years now.

Another woman claimed that her son was frightened by the sign.

The local media did manage to find someone who supports the sign.

“I love the billboard,” one woman said. “We’re conservative and there’s a lot of corruption that’s happened in this country and I don’t think it’s threatening.”

In fact, local police said they found two groups of people who responded to it, those who were offended by the message, and those who were offended that somebody would be offended.

The homeowner, hearing of the controversy surrounding his sign, has agreed to change the message, something he periodically does anyway according to police.

Regardless, the local who enjoyed the sign explained the message behind the billboard further.

“If you attempt to take down a good president, there’s gonna be a problem,” she said.
