Tonight is the third and final presidential debate between Republican Donald J. Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton and as both candidates prepare for battle Trump received fantastic news!
Trump has long been a strong supporter of the military for years, and new poll reveals that the Republican leads Hillary Clinton among military voters.
According to a joint Military Times/Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families, Trump earns a whopping 40% support among active-duty troops. Libertarian Gary Johnson earns 27% support and Democrat Hillary Clinton is in a distant third with a mere 20.6% support.
Trump strength among active-duty soldiers rose 2 points since September, whereas Gary Johnson saw his support drop 10 points.
While this poll is good news for Trump, he has lost ground among female troops, dropping from 26.7% support to 25.7%.
