After Robert Mueller’s congressional hearing Wednesday was called a “disaster” by many, President Donald Trump decided to pile on.
“I would like to thank the Democrats for holding this morning’s hearing,” Trump tweeted. “Now, after 3 hours, Robert Mueller has to subject himself to #ShiftySchiff – an Embarrassment to our Country!”

Jay Sekulow , Trump’s lawyer, also released the following statement:
“This morning’s testimony exposed the troubling deficiencies of the Special Counsel’s investigation. The testimony revealed that this probe was conducted by a small group of politically-biased prosecutors who, as hard as they tried, were unable to establish either obstruction, conspiracy, or collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. It is also clear that the Special Counsel conducted his two-year investigation unimpeded.”

Mueller’s performance has been widely condemned as disastrous.
“This has been a disaster for the Democrats and I think it’s been a disaster for the reputation of Robert Mueller,” Fox News Chris Wallace said Wednesday as reported by The Political Insider.
“He has seemed very uncertain with his brief. He doesn’t know — seem to know things that are in the report,” Wallace continued. “He has been attacked a number of times and you would think that almost anybody else would have defended his own integrity and the integrity of the investigation and over and over, Mueller just sits silent and allows the attacks from the Republicans to sweep over him and says nothing.”

Trump Jr. also took a shot at Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff, “Sort of like the lies Schiff told the American people every day when he claimed he saw evidence that no one else has seen? I guess he’s saving that for another hearing! #FullOfSchiff #BullSchiff.”

Can you blame either Trump? The Democrats have dragged their family and this country through this Russiagate nonsense for well over two years, and now with the testimony of the Special Counsel himself, the whole thing seems more ridiculous than ever.
Robert Mueller finally had a chance to speak today and President Trump came out looking even better. If Democrats are smart, this will be the end of it.
