Thanks, Obama! And thanks to the “stupidity of the American voter!” (But not THIS smart, healthy 30-year-old female voter who purchases individual health insurance in Northern Virginia!)
“If you like your plan, you can keep it. Period.” FALSE! I just received “New Plan Details” in the mail today – my premium has jumped from $104.24 when I bought it before Obamacare in September 2013, to $123.09 in April 2014 (an increase of 18%) because of increased Obamacare taxes and fees, to a whopping $292.99 (an increase of 138% since April, and 181% since I first got my plan!) with my new government-approved health insurance plan.
“If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.” FALSE! I can’t afford this plan, so I need to find another, who knows if my doctors will be in-network in my new plan?
“Premiums will go down $2,500 per family per year.” FALSE! My premium has gone up $2,265 in the last year.
“The American voters are too stupid to understand.” TRUE! (How else do you explain Obama being elected TWICE and Obamacare being allowed to be implemented?)
